I am so depressed. Have been for a very long time. I know that depression is selfish. Could I possibly "need" an antidepressant. When I was younger (before I got saved) I was diagnosed with Manic Depression. What should I do? Keep praying and studying God's word with hope that one day I will be happy or should I go see a doctor?
Please no secular anti-God replys.

HI its encourager4God and I have a question:

Why is it so hard for me to accept the lot God has given me in life,
I was told by a christaian sister not to put myslef down so much.
I have been verbally abused but that is over and in the past.

I just want to love myself in a Godly way so I can love others, What are Bible vereses that have helped you thorugh your hurts and pain? How did all of you overcome your adversities, Sometimes I feel I am not good enough, pretty enough, smart enough, adequate enough. I know God loves me but at times I have a hard time loving/liking myself.

God is awesome but I would like to know where do I go from her and how to I go forward and truly put the past in the past.

Churches focus on Satan a lot and trying to avoid Satan, but by trying to avoid something and thinking about Satan so much, doesn't it actually give Satan power because you give your thoughts and time focussing on Fear.

Without Satan, Jesus wouldn't have a purpose as his specific purpose was to save people from Satan. But are people being fooled to worship a man as the Bible specifically says not to? Didn't the coming of Jesus give more focus, attention and therefore power to the idea of Satan?

Are churches blindly spreading fear?

If God is love, then wouldn't spreading fear of Satan be bringing people further from the spectrum of love?

As an adult have you ever cried because of physical pain?
I had never cried because of physical pain and I thought I would have never till sometime ago (at 38) after stubbing my toes against a hidden stone: the pain was sudden, unexpected and excruciating! I hate to show my weakness in front of other people, especially if younger then me, so I tried very hard to fight back the tears. For some moments I succeeded, really fighting very hard, but after a while the pain became more then excruciating and I couldn't help bursting into tears. Result: three toes and some small bones broken... but I felt ashamed to look such a crybaby!

Let me know if you had similar experiences and what do you think of my reaction, please.

I guess I can better understand "warm-blooded" murder- reasons such as revenge, anger, passion?, whatever, but why do some people commit "cold-blooded" murder for seemingly no reason and with complete strangers? Also, are we all "capable" of this?

Ok, the other night I had a dream and something in the dream told me to that my grandma had a diabetic lesion on her left leg. At first, I thought that it was completely ludicrous until I told some other family members, and they had her checked out and it turned out that it was in the same spot in my dream, and it had the same appearance. What is up with that? Then, sometimes, if I I look at the walls in my room I see little ripples going through it. It is kind of like the another dimension or something. I dont know what it is. Personally, I think that the dream was from God, but u guys might think I am pyschotic. I also hear voices sometimes, but they never tell me to do anything negative! I also have frequent lightheadness and a feeling that I am in another world. I focus on random objects in the room, and it is like I am in a trance or something. Any suggestions?!?
