In the Bible,it only tells us of what will happen on the day of the Apocalyse,but the Bible doesn't say anything about after the Apocalypse.So what happens next?

Responses to a question I posted yesterday got me thinking: Do you believe that you are a good host? Why, or why not?

I'll start: I'd give myself a B+. I pick up the living room, being sure to remove anything embarrassing (underwear, cat puke, Uncle Earl). I always serve tea in the good tea set, and usually bake something in advance. I put music on in the background, and try my best to pick something the guest will like. Usually I comb my hair.

What grade would you give yourself?

it used to be that it carried a life-long stigma ... someone would always have that copy of Hustler with the girl's picture in it to bring up. But now, there's SO MUCH porn out there, I would think that a single dalliance would just fade into the woodwork.

Besides, porn stars are household names now in America. It seems it hardly carries the stigma it once did.

I have a few questions concerning this. Do people think that only the religious abstain from sex before marriage? This user states “i mean think about it, sleeping wiv every guy u go out with" In my answer I said;

"I don't know if I should be offended by your comment. I'm an Atheist and I do NOT sleep with every guy I meet. It's called having self respect and morals.

I know PLENTY of Christians that sleep around and many non-christians that choose to wait til marriage. Religion has nothing to do with it!!!!"

Why is it that non religious people are viewed with less morals because they don't believe in God? I know many MANY Christians that sleep around and I know many MANY Non-Christians that are saving themselves for marriage!

Why do people make this distinction? How does having faith in God automatically give you better morals than others?

I've been a vegetarian for over 20 years on ethical grounds. I believed then, and even more strongly now that there are better ways of feeding ourselves than eating dead animals, most of which have been abused and manipulated their entire short lives.
Why is it then that having a concience and trying in my small way to make the world a kinder place, has resulted in a significant minority of people either treating me as if I have a screw loose, or even worse, accusing me of being some sort of dangerous subversive?
Incidentally, I was born and brought up in the country and worked on farms in my teens so I'm not a 'sentimental townie'.

I am going to be a scarecrow on our haunted trail in our town. I have a very scary costume and a voice changer...I will have a stand so I'll be up off of the ground about 1 or 2 feet...when they come to a fork in the trail, I want to lift my head and say something to them...what should I say? This is what the bible says:

43: And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
-Luke, chapter 1

The bible says there is only one Lord, and that is the Lord our God.

This is not saying that Mary was mother to the trinity. What it is saying is that Jesus is God and that Mary became His mother when He was conceived in her womb.
