And that would explain why Emory University, Duke University, Vanderbilt University, Harvard College, The American University, Brigham Young University, Notre Dame University, Loyola University, Georgetown University etc., etc., etc., all religiously affiliated colleges produce outstandingly educated individuals and continue to have divinity schools on their campuses.

Get a grip. Ad-hominem attacks only make an argument look weak, and make you look intolerant and short-sighted.

Most of the Christians I know, home school their children and they are above average in intellect. So that is a myth. Also all the Christians I know are very intellectual and have very high IQs as well as being the best friends a person could have. Blessings.

AT least we let our Children go to school, We are not like the Muslim countries that keeps the woman & girls from going to school, & why does most countries that get in trouble ask The Americians for help, Our Military has many Christians in the armed service, before you start pointing fingers at Us Americians point it at yourself, So now you see, I don't buy your question. I know of no research done to prove or disprove your premise.

But for starters, we'd need to define what the term "educated" means. I suspect it doesn't mean "smarter."

Or should we accept it as fact that EVERY person who has EVER received a Doctorate, from say Harvard, is ALWAYS smarter than someone who hasn't?

(By the way, John Harvard was a clergyman.)

I would have to disagree with you. There are many excellent elementary, junior high, high schools and universities that are founded by churches, particularly the Catholic Church.

What shows a lack of intelligence is the repeating of other people's bigotry and prejudice.

God bless you.

Strange as the best schools are usually Catholic schools. Around here so too are the other Christian schools. Higher standards and higher test scores.
