I watched a celebreality show on VH1 where celebrities go to this sanitorium, that is supposedly haunted. I was wondering whether any real paranormal scientists have ever conducted research there or not.

t really just depends on what you believe. Or who you believe. I find this place to be interesting too. I think that they may have so kind of public tour if you live in that area and want to go.

TAPS (ghosthunters) went there to do a show. Also they have tours for $20 a person, half night stays from 12am to 4am for $50 and all night stays from 12am to 8am for $100. The tours are booked until January 2007, after that I am booking my tour as it is only about a 15 min drive from my house.
They also host a haunted house during October in the first floor for $20 a person. They are slowly renovating the place so that is what the money is going towards.

Of course they do! Check out the link the first poster provided; dates fill up quickly. I was there about a year ago. It's amazing! Take both digital and film cameras with you. Don't get too excited about orbs, though. Most are bugs or dust; look more for shadows, etc in photos. You should take a voice recorder, too. Try doing some EVP's in there. Take flashlights and LOTS of extra batteries, too. That place is so haunted, you're almost guaranteed to collect some evidence.

In season 2 the T.A.P.S crew Ghosthunters were there and that same year, a crew from another paranormal research group did a study. Yes it is a very haunted place. So much suffering and death in that place. Many of the local people who live in the area have stories.

I watched a show about that on the sci fi channel. I have become really interested in that. The show was very creepy, like it was showing where some of the dead bodies were hung to "bleed out". I can only imagine what it would have been like to work there. Also, there was an independent film made called Room Nine and it was all filmed there. I would definatly recommed watching that movie, it is very creepy!

Ghost hunters (Taps) did a show there, and I remember that also, a show called Scariest Places on Earth, did a feature on this place. That was the first time I heard about that place.
