I'm not just thinking of futile here, but ABSOLUTE futility. Ah, I have struggled for years with just this one question causing of course some of my futility, but certainly not even a small percent of absolute futility.

My Husband and I recently got saved and baptized and Married. The church that we attend doesn't allow for us to celebrate Holloween. We believe that this is satan's Holiday. I am not asking for religious advice, or anyone to tell us that we need a new church or anything like that, our beliefs are our beliefs and that is it. I want to know what I can do with my daughter so that she doesn't feel left out when all the other kids are trick-or-treating.

Please Help... This is more for the people who have the same beliefs that we do.

It just seems wierd that despite starting in the middle east the westernized version of Christianity is so removed from the Jewish and Muslum faiths. Is this just something that was changed duing the Crusades and basically made into a religion that suited the Europeans better at that time?

I respect other peoples beliefs and cultures. I do not hate anyone, nor do i wish to incite hate towards anyone.
My problem is, I find it very frustrating that some Jewish people are so overly defensive about Israel, and seem to turn on people calling them holocaust deniers etc, just because they said something slightly negative about Israel.
People say negative things about my country all the time. I may not always like what they say but I respect their freedom to form an opinion based on there own freedom of thought.

If God is perfect can he simply say it is okay that you are a murderer? If God forgives without atonement can he be perfect? to deny the deity of Christ is to deny your own salvation. No created being is perfect and if a created being can achieve perfection why would Christ need to atone for sin? We would all be required to be perfect.
