I am not praying for myself but rather for a sick kitten, in a no-kill feline sacurty. So does praying to God and the bless virgin really help? And does God really hear my pray?

Curious...there isnt a feline ailement that there isnt a current cure for. Unless a limb is missing. As far as prayers....god does not distinguish between christian prayers and say...muslum or buddist prayers. And yes...he hears them all. Listen to your heart. Love can heal sickness sometimes too.

If you mean "will praying convince God to make a kitten get well?" the answer is "no". God is not swayed or convinced by our prayers to take an action that He has not already decided on.

If you mean "will praying make it known to God that I wish this kitten to get well?", then the answer is "yes". The purpose of prayer is for us to clarify our needs to God. God already knows what we need and want, but when we pray, we become aware of these needs and wants and that God is the one who answers our needs and wants.

God does hear our prayers. Sometimes the answer from God is "yes". Sometimes it is "no". Sometimes, the answer is "not yet".

If you're going to ask if praying works, don't ask the Christians. They have a vested interest in perpetuating that myth. Studies have shown that prayer is useless.

Good luck with your kitten.

God wants to hear from every one of His children...of course you can pray for the kitten...I only pray in the name of Jesus Christ and I don't pray to the Blessed Virgin...because I am not Catholic.....but I believe that God hears all sincere prayer....you have to start somewhere...and He knows that if we have not prayed before, we will feel awkward....but He loves all of us and He will honor your prayers if you seek Him with your heart in sincerity.

I'm sorry but god is not real, he is imaginary. If the kitten is in a no kill shelter they will keep it until it is adopted. no need to worry about it. If you feel so compelled try to help get the cat adopted.

The only thing that will save the kitten is money to help "fix" her.

Don't waste your time praying, take action and help that little guy!!!
