If you examine the questions I have asked today, you will see the theme of my questions for today has been about Christianity sanctioning slavery. It's a historical fact that Christianity has sanctioned slavery (my questions provide the evidence for this).

Several people have had trouble with this, insisting Peter and Paul were speaking of maids and butlers, and not slaves.

My question for those who have this difficulty is, have you never been taught that Rome practiced slavery? Have none of you heard of Spartacus, a gladiator who led a slaves' revolt against Rome and defeated several Roman armies before finally being put down? Are you unaware that this occurred before the birth of Jesus?

In light of these facts, how do you justify Peter and Paul telling slaves to accept their fate as slaves? Peter goes so far as to say "Slaves, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh." (1 Peter 2:18).

Be honest don't research it.. If you do not know just say I do not know....

Obviously the translators couldn't even translate the name of the Christ correctly so what makes you think they got anything else right.

I was a Baptised Christian for 16 years and did not know the answer to this question until I got wise and became Agnostic!!

I personally do not spank... But LIKE ANY NORMAL person there are times when kids just drive you off the wall and you might think about spanking.... do you think is it ever okay? why? how much is too much? Do you think the kids associate this with their bad behavior?

It seems that we remain a minstrel show for others as well as ourselves. ILike the only way we feel we can be noticed is to put on a show. Constantly performing, always a joke. When will we break this cycle on a community level? Any ideas?

I just see in Danish TV that one airport in the states have problems with muslims, because they don't want to drive with customer with alcohol in their luggage. I never laugh so much. Things same this can only happen in the states. In Denmark we will never accept such muslim drivers if they follow their religion first. Take them out, many can replace their jobs. What will the next be ???? Are the states slowly turning into a muslim country??

I was looking at a map the day and realised there was an old battle site just over the feild for me that I had never heard of before. It was on the evening news tonight as they are trying to get it perserved.
Am I physcic or is it just a coincedence?
