I was looking at a map the day and realised there was an old battle site just over the feild for me that I had never heard of before. It was on the evening news tonight as they are trying to get it perserved.
Am I physcic or is it just a coincedence?

Things like that keep happenning, thinking aout someting obscure then someone else talking about it later in the day. Thinking about how someone is then they phone.

I do the same thing. I will think about a movie (ANY movie) and it will come on television within so many days. I was wondering what a word meant one time, said I would look it up online, then within 30 minutes (no joke) something came on television and a character actually said the word and another gave the exact definition. One day when I was a teen, I was lying in the bed staring at the ceiling when all of a sudden it seemed like the ceiling wasn't there and I was seeing the boards that were under the plaster. When I told my dad, he told me that the boards I described are exactly what is under the plaster (the house was built in the early 1900s and I had only been staying there for a few weeks). Once I was washing the dishes and singing and got stuck on a part of the song w/a #, just kept repeating the # for some reason. My dad was watching tv in the other room, then suddenly came in and asked what # I was saying. When I answered, he just looked at me crazily and told me that he heard me singing the # before the lotto was drawn: turns out it was the same # I was singing, straight! Just a lot of weird little things. This happens to me ALL of the time (and it's not just with television and movies). Don't know if it means we're psychic, very perceptive, or our "sixth sense" is kicking in.

Yes. With the part about the battlefield, I would say you are probably tapped into a higher world consciousness that circulates around the earth.

I think we are all psychic from time to time. There are many techniques for improving this ability.

My psychic plays solitaire all day! And tries to guess the cards ahead. She is 86 years old and has quite a list of clientele, that come from distances.

Sometimes people can get messages from somewhere. It might make you a little psychic or just a little lucky at guessing. There were most likely several battles in your area at some point in time. Read up on it. There are web sites that can either teach you or tell you if you might be psychic Maybe someone who had known you in your past and had died gave you a nudge. Look into remote viewing. You might have had past lives also.

No.

Let's put it this way, if you feel sure you have a preternatural power that can be demonstrated under test conditions, you can get one million dollars from the James Randi Educational Foundation. It is no trick, you just have to do what you say you can do, under agreed conditions of scrutiny.
Most people, in fact, every one who has applied so far, find that their remarkable powers just fade away under simple control conditions! However, you may be the first, why don't you go for it?

You are experiencing what is called precognition. It is where you feel or know something before it happens.

I would defiantly look further in understanding your ability to use it for good later on. I have included an definition on Precognition. I hope this info helps.

Precognition is a form of extra-sensory perception. Believers in precognition say it allows a "percipient" to perceive information about future places or events before they happen (as opposed to merely predicting them based on deductive reasoning and current knowledge). A related term, presentiment is used to refer to information about future events which may not present itself in conscious form but rather in the form of emotions or feelings at the autonomic level. These terms are considered by some to be special cases of the more general term clairvoyance.

There is disagreement within parapsychology as to the existence of precognition and the validity or interpretation of precognition related experiments.

Blessed Be!

happens all the time.

If you were, you probably wouldn't need to ask the question.

I went to check my email for the Pretenders fan club yesterday, just as i logged in, Brass in Pocket comes on the radio.

Think how many activities you and the world around you are enganged in at any one time...hundreds. Even so often some are bound to colide and seem like spooky coincendences

my spell checker couldn't even find your version of psychic it was so far off the mark !

I think everyone has a 6th sense. For instance, I am getting the feeling that you will get several more smart alec answers from people that BELIEVE they are clever and in reality are just really good at fooling themselves ;)
That being said, I really think that people are trained into ignoring their instincts. If you really feel you are sensitive trying paying more attention to that gut feeling and keeping track of how often you are right. I think you may be surprised at the results.

No you are not psychic. If you think about the millions of things that you do look at every day and they don't turn up on the news then it is hardly surprising that coincidences happen eventually. For instance how many times have you been thinking of someone and they have not called you? Probably thousands...but the one time you are thinking of someone and they do phone you, you say to them "I must be psychic, I was just thinking of you". We only notice these things when they are together but we never notice when they are not connected.

Everyone is psychic-they just discount the info they have. We're animals as well to a certain degree. Everything has instincts to keep them safe and make better judgements. Listen to the feelings you have, or the first response you get to something-it's usually accurate.
