If I understand your question correctly, I think you are asking whether or not it is OK to build a big, expensive "mega" church.
In my opinion, it is. There is a reason that church meetings are not held in dumps. No one will want to come. If, however, you build a nice, beautiful church (such as Shuller's Crystal Cathedral) people will want to come and see it. While they are there, they will hear the word of God.
Worth it? I think so.

I have no issue with the "size" of the church. Each church is different and should be evaluated accordingly.
I have an issue with "Pastors" that forget to live in humility and with an nonmaterialistic lifestyle such as Christ. Not all those that lead large churches forget this; however, it is more prevalent in the the larger ones.

I don't think it should matter that they are on TV as long as they are preaching the TRUTH. If they are preaching ungodly things and are too secular then you need to watch out. Sometimes they are out to entertain you with all of the jumping around and shouting. Is all that really necessary?
Also, just because they are on TV doesn't mean they are good. There is money to be made in those TV evangelizing...Watch what they preach.

What is a church good for if there is no worship? It doesn't matter how much money, or how big the church is or how much the church catches your eye from it's Beauty, but the teachings of Christ, and his love for us. If there is anything in a church that gets more praises then God himself. Then it is not a church of God, but just a market place.

I love them. Especially Joel Osteen he makes me want to be a better person. He's probably not at home on the Internet, he's probably helping humanity or reading the bible. I'm such a heathen.

If you want to get honest answers, you need to ask unbiased questions. Your question already gives people an idea of what answers you want.therefore the answers here will not likely to be valid. It is also unfair to those you mentioned but I do feel there are many televangelist that are not trying to bring Glory to the LORD. They are out to make names for themselves and to gain money in misleading ways. If you disagree with any of them, do not watch them, do not listen and do not send them money. You are not responsible for their actions. but you are responsible for yours.

It`s not the pastor or the big ministries that matter, but the way they interpret the holy bible and gods word that matter.

I think it's not left up to us to judge. If they are doing wrong then they will see the error of their ways. They have big churches, indeed. But, I mean they have their followers ...
