I made it to level 4 without a single violation. All in 1 or 2 days, 5 of my questions were flagged. It's got to be a violation to harass someone in this way!!!

report them. be specific, or go into your profile, change your name, and keep asking questions

Anyone can flag your questions, but Yahoo has the last say so. If you flag a question and Yahoo thinks it did not need to be no penalty occurs. If Yahoo thinks there should be a penalty then points will be take away from you. I had 975 points taken away from me in a day, and I don't think I am that rude, I just speak my opinion. So don't think about it, either change your name as people have said here, or just carry on. This is all a game, what the heck, keep asking, my friend.

Same exact thing happened to me today.. I've made it to level 4, not one violation and checked my email and I've gotten 4 all of a sudden,, even though my questions weren't in the least against TOS rules... I'm perplexed. I wrote to yahoo, but from all accounts, they won't respond and reinstate my questions or points. Oddly enough, 2 of them I had already selected best answers for and were 2 days old. I think their is some conspiracy among those at level 5+ and up.. lol.. oh I also got one for "chatting".. isnt' this all chatting to some degree?

I wish you well.. maybe I'll take a few suggestions given here. Bummer!

Anyone can flag anything as a violation. However, Yahoo has to agree to it for it to be an actual violation that you get in an email, etc. and can imperil your account.

I agree that improper violation flagging should penalize a person. They should be docked 5 points or so for each one. Perhaps then this would not happen.

if you know the person's screen name, write to Yahoo about this harassment. Be specific.

Good luck!

Just suck it up and move on. It happens because some people are stupid and don't have anything better to do with their time. YA is the one that approved the flagging so you know they won't do anything.
