With whatever religious beliefs you carry, are you completely happy in life? Is there something that you would like to do in life that your religion frowns upon?

This is in no way saying anything about any religion. I was just wondering if anyone feels this way.

i asked my sister in law if she was leaving with her galfriend, she yelled at me "iam not going to change whatever that means".. i kept quite with shock.
help it really hurts me whenever i think about it.she never calls me anyway, and it seems to me the enitre family is of disrespectful pple.

Why don't people who don't beleive, well, don't beleive? The theories of evolution and the big bang CANNOT be proven! Scientists have their 5 year old text books and we have our 2000 year old Bible! Can scientists explain how so many religions, who are based on an Almighty Creator, exist so far from each other? Why is it that our galaxy was made just perfect enough to survive? Why is our world made so perfectly as to not burn or freeze? I just can't beleive that science is right, especially the fact that I, having such a distinct conscience, will just go POOF! And completely disappear when I die. It just isn't probable. So, Atheists and scientists, explain with the best of your ability why ALL of these things have science to defend it. Thanks.

the contradictions in their Biblical interpretations?

For example, Christ preached love and tolerance, yet so many ignore this favoring more judgmental passages. They call homosexuality abomination worth banning while they do not seek to ban adultery. Women were property of men in biblical times, yet most Christians would not want life to be that way today. servants and slaves were A-okay. Many more examples.

If Christians are so right, why don't they answer questions seeking explanation for the hypocrisy?

I'm looking for a PhD program in Gender Studies, but there is only one in the country. However, there are 12 PhD programs in Women's Studies. Is it just semantics, or would a the Women's Studies program be more archaic and limited in scope than a Gender Studies Program? Thanks for any insight.

I have came out about 4 months ago to some of my family and friends. the funnyest thing just happend. the only one's I left out where my parents. I was talking with my mother and was telling her I don't want a man get it for the rest of my life. she turned and said why you are gay arn't you. I couldn't help but laught she is just now catching on. were finally on the same page. so now that I am open and care about others why am I still single? do you have any advice for a new commer?

I am married to an american and I am still not applied for the citizenship, so I am an alien (a legal one). My question is what should I do on social events when thay play the US National Anthem or the flag pledge? Just stay quiet and show respect?

Once upon a time, there was a little troll who loved people of all backgrounds and cultures. All she wanted to do is make people smile.

Ok - the human bar would be - wood in front of my and a buddy of mine - with bar taps glued to the top- shot glasses and paraphanalia (sp ??) and liqour and shot glasses and the such would be served from the human mobile bar
The nacho libre outfit is self explainatory - but it would get cold quick
The Keg- is a foam looking keg that goes around the body and the tap is on the head- the tap is filled with your fav. liqour or beverage- and the tap hose actually works
