Whoa. I didn't know that there were a lot of other people who saw these things and that there was actually a name for them. I just google-ed it and came up with the wikipedia article on it. Ever since I was little I've seen these black things out of the corners of my eyes, or felt them lurking behind me. They appear at random times, like when I'm walking through town during the day, or when I'm sitting in a park. They're creepiest when I'm alone and when it's dark (obviously). They scare the bajeezes out of me. When I was little I used to yell at them and tell them to leave me alone. I once told my parents when I was younger, but they just thought I had imaginary friends. When I was in high school my best friend told me she saw them also. She's the only person I've ever met who sees them too. So yeah, to answer your questions...I've seen the shadow people.

I did. It was one early morning back in May, I'd have to say it was around 3:00 A.M.; maybe a little later; I don't sleep much. I was outside my front porch enjoying a fine Canadian cigarette and as I looked out beyond the cast of light from the street light standard I saw movement in amongst the gathered shadows at the dimmed edge. I took it at first to be a cat or perhaps some other night prowler. What I looked upon gather forth into that inky pool, the darkness seemed to intensify and began to rise upward; this was no cat!! I was amazed, truly riveted to the step; something deep inside my echoing mind broke this fascination; I turned and took myself inside bolting the door behind me. Had the chills all the rest till dawn, and even then from time to time. I would not want to meet one in a dark alley, that is for sure!

I thought once I did. But I wasn't sure about it. An I never saw it again. So my mind was probably playing a trick on me. But what I thought I saw was this mass of blackness. An I had a feeling like my heart was just being crushed by something cold. But probably my mind playing tricks on me. But there probably is shadow people out there.
