Commonly, Italians are very dark skinned; this is a well known fact. Maybe they have never been to Italy??

Northern Italians are typically fair. However, when most think of Italians, they think of tall, dark and handsome.......like my Italian bf!

Don't pay attention to what people think its YOUR boyfriend, yes Swedens are pink I must say(I am one of them) not all are blond. Cultures don'thave to look alike, thats what makes people their own person.

Because Italy is in Europe, and many of the people over there are white.
