I'm a friendly person and I have enough $$ to take care of myself.

I'm a dedicated follower of the Prophet, peace be on Him, I think the war in Iraq is legitimate as it was time for Saddam Hussein to go, I don't like Israel any bit, but I'm against the use of violence.

How do I talk to God? As in, really.

I mean in terms of having the same freedom, not being afraid of him, being represented in society/public the same way as he is, doing the same things as he can (e.g. extreme sports, decision-making, policy-making), etc. If not so, why not, where do you feel constraints? Can you improve your role? Or are your hands locked?

I am really fed up with my neighbours. They are noisy at night, very untidy and have a dog they never walk but let it bark all the time. They have taken to hanging their washing over the railings at the front of their house which makes the place look like a gipsy camp. When I got home from work yesterday evening they had put their clothes over the rail which seperates the front of my house from the front of theirs. As the clothes were closer to my front door than theirs, it looked like they belonged to me. I wanted to nip this in the bud but they werent in at the time for me to talk to them so being fairly pissed off with them for a number of reasons I took a bunch of lillies and shook the pollen on the clothes that were on my side of the railings. My friend says that was a really evil thing to do but I was really mad. What would you have done in my situation?

Nobody's perfect, and so is it really important to have the gorgeous looks & hot body to find your match? I remember, my guy friend asked me to find him a date, then I tried to match him my girl friend, he sort of backed-out when he seems he don't like her looks much...I apologized to my friend (i feel so embarassed to my friend), and I started to stop communicating to him and ignored his sms messages asking me if I could still find him pretty girls...and even kept on bugging me to go out with him, kinda odd...

is it so people have something to hope for? to believe?

are religous people trying to make the world a better or worse place?

is religion good or bad?

i ask this because there are so many religious nuts on here so i'm sure a lot of people will answer with bollocks such as 'our lord in heaven...' etc etc etc.

the way i see it, people have to have something to believe. personally, i believe in myself, god doesnt do my work for me, he doesnt stop me from getting stabbed or shot on the street....

when my brother was 8 a religous nut went up to him and said he is in a wheelchair because he was a sinner and had sinned in previous lives...now is that religion?

Why isn't anyone doing anything. Is it because we can't get OIL or anything valuble? There is killings everyday...by the hundreds. I see this no matter where I look, T>V. news paper, internet. I can't believe what is going on and the world stands by watching.Babies starving, women and children being raped and thrown in gutters to die....why is it so bad...change something...help...I can't do it alone. If there was anything like hope,faith,care,love,warmpth,humanity..in the world leaders heart. They would and could do something. But I guess Africa has nothing that can fill the GOV's pockets...so they don't care...
My I really hope God punish all that are at fault. I am sorry for my feeling all out on yahoo Q&A...but no one else listens....

That our sexual orientation (LGBT) is a special gift from God, which God do not give to others???

and those homophobics are just jealous!!

If God hate us, God must have destroyed us.
I`ve ever prayed to God for asking a boyfriend, and the next day,
God answered me!!! I found a good man from internet, and we spend a very good time.

Why brethren in Christ, do we say we are sorry for believing that He IS the King of kings? We doubt his word or apologize for his translators. What know we of the Father's mind? Only what HE has revealed in creation. If the unbeliever will not see what should we do? Should we cast pearls before swine? And who is my brother? Am I the good Samaritan, or the robber, or the priest? Or the donkey?

With all due respect, the meaning of life for Christians is to go to Heaven (by loving and serving), for Hindus to be reincarnated (by living a peaceful life) and so forth.

So, for the atheist, what is the meaning or goal for your life?
I know you can't speak for all atheist but would like to hear your viewpoint or your opinion.
If you're not an atheist you're welcomed to respond with your opinion, just be respectful as well.

Thanks guys. =^)

Surah 41: 9,10,12 says, “ ...do you indeed disbelieve in Him Who created the earth in two periods…and he made therein its foods, in four periods…So he ordained them seven heavens in two periods.” (2+4+2=8 days)
But in Surah 10:3, “Surely your Lord is Allah, Who created the Heavens and the Earth in six periods…” It contradicts itself.

The Encyclopedia Britannica says about the Quran: “The deviations from the biblical narratives are very marked, and can in most cases be traced back to the legendary anecdotes of the Jewish Haggada and the Apocryphal Gospels. Much has been written concerning the sources from which Mohammad derived this information; there is no evidence that he was able to read, and his dependence on oral communication may explain some of his misconceptions…”

How can this book be holy and inspired by God? Another question.. what do Muslim women get if they go to "paradise" as it is called in the Quran?

Most of my childhood experiences never happened - they were just dreams. A plane never dropped a bomb on the factory next to my school and i never did see a UFO.

My dreams are so real to me...how can i tell the difference between them and reality?
