How do Americans feel about Guantanamo?Do you believe in the noble mission of American troops in Iraq?I'm asking you as "humans". I saw many of the pics and vids and could hardly believe any human could be that gross...I mean even if it's your "enemy", there'a a minimal amount of humanity that we can all show, stooping to that level was more than just offending.

I'm an Arab, and like many arabs we watch American sitcoms and movies and we enjoy them very much.I watch "Friends" and love many American movies and have them on my PC, but I am feeling a contardition after having seen those Guantanamo pics... I am torn between feelings of admiration for a culture which I like in many aspects (But I love mine too..and a lot) and hatred for what I have seen.

Just tried to explain the feelings of some Arabs, that I claim ro represent.

Why is it that, when I study a new word or hear a new phrase I hear it all over. For example, if I hear the name John on the radio, then whenever I talk to someone I hear the name for the rest of the day. Or why is it when I feel a certain way I get an oposite response. Why is it when I feel good about myself people put me down. Why is it when I feel badly about myself or I I hate the way my hair looks, people will say that you look good. What is this called.

i don't know what my stand is on abortion. i support then i don't. I don't support because, what if i was aborted. I do support it because it's better than having people throw their children away in the trash or what if a man raped someone, i doubt they would like it give birth to the rapist's child. I don't support it because some really dumb girls are having abortions later in the pregnancy when the child is practically a real baby. well what do you think? what is your stand on abortion and why?

I have known this guy for almost 4 years. We have had a very connecting relationship. We seem to understand each other better than anybody else has ever understood us. We really care deeply for each other, but, on the flip side, he is very emotionally unattacthed, especially when I tell him how I feel. I would tell him him very deep things through my e-mail and I would not get a response. Why is that? He and I are still very close. I often think of him as my soul mate. He knows that when I tell him the things I do, he seems to shut me out and he knows it bothers me. He still does it. He would pull me in, and push me away. I feel it's time to move on, but, it's really hard. I can't let go of this guy. I just wish I could. I do nothing to him to warrant this. There are lots of other guys, and I know this, but why can't I get passed this paticular guy? I am ashamed of myself for feeling like I do, it's silly, and not like me at all. What is wrong with me? Are these mind games?
