I know not all Christians are anti-gay but for the ones who are it almost seems to be the driving focus of whatever weird interpretation of faith they adhere to.

Nikki, many of the homophobic Christians I know practice fornication, adultery, and drunkenness, only to ask their God to stop their actions. It's quite paradoxical, really.
As far as "Christian Taliban" goes, it does work, but the formal name for such a group is actually "Christian dominionists." You can google that and find out their agenda. It's far worse than even mainstream Christians would have you believe.

First - name calling went away in second grade - on both sides of the issue.
Second - Don't make the assumption that Christians are wrong.
Third - Sin is sin. Stealing, lying, adultry, etc,are no worse in God's eyes. That doesn't make them right either.
Fourth - Read the Gospel of John, pray for truth, then take appropriate action.

Well, I think that you need to ask the Taliban. How would they feel about it? I mean, they are the supposed experts on religion, right? And when it comes to legalisms like banning VCRS and Computers and women as doctors and how to dress and keeping you people whipped if they don't comply, I think that they are experts!

let me help you out here: christians are not only against the gay lifestyle, but also a drunk lifestyle, a lifestyle of adultery, fornication, drugs....So many more sinful lifestyles. the real Q is why are you so Anti-Christian?
