I've already met someone who's a vampire. She's a friend and I believed her. There isn't really a way to prove whether or not someone is a real vampire, but there are ways to tell if they're telling the truth.
At first, I thought she was just playing around, but I soon realized that she was serious. Trying to get someone to prove that they're a vampire would be like proving that they practice a certain religion. One can act like it, but it doesn't mean they are. It's just something that you have to keep an open mind about.

I wouldn't believe them. Freak is a bit strong but I would consider them to be a bit strange. As for a test, the rules for vampires change with every new movie. Crosses and holy water (in small amounts) might be worth a try though, being that those are the only two that I can think of that wouldn't involve me getting bit, the death of a vampire poser, or the death of the real thing.

Truth to tell...I would spend my time watching and observing them to see is any of the claims they made were valid. Most TRUE vamires DON'T run around telling everyone they meet that they are vampires. In vact the Psychic Vampire is most effective when people DON'T know that they are as such. If soneone is TOO upfront about being a vampire, they are either looking for power, or are full of something slightly less palatable then bs.
Having had the years of experience with such people both psychic and blood drinking that I haveI can usually suss out the real from the fakes.

Lol, if this person were a real vampire, he/she wouldn't even be out in the day, would only be living off blood, be allergic to garlic and holy water, and cowers at the sign of the cross? Lol, this is the vampire stereotype. Vampires are the creation of lovely Northern European story tellers that claimed to see vampires at night when they were really just seeing people with rabies that feared going out during the day because everyone else fled.

They would totally have to prove it, but not on me.I've always been a fan of vampire lore and Anne Rice novels and used to have dreams about being pursued by vampires and sometimes I was one in my dream. I don't really believe they exist, but it's fun to indulge in the idea. they would have to pass the no reflection test, the day light test, I would throw a bunch of pennies or something on the floor to see if they would immediately stop to count them(legend says vampires are obsessive compulsive)
there is a disease called porphyria that causes the sufferer to be extremely sensitive to sun light and crave iron, which they're bodies are deficient of.

To prove if someone is a vampire: 1) take 1 large wooden stake. 2) shove stake into vampires heart. ..... If body withers and turns to dust after inserting wooden stake then person is vampire. If not. Get out of town. Quick.
Check the link for a vampire probability test.

No. Tell them you are a priest, bless some water, then throw it on them. See if they burn. (they won't). It's so easy to prove those people are just delusional, I don't know why they bother. Just a loose screw I guess. They can't deal with the real world, so have to create their own world to live in.

i wouldnt believe that they drink blood to absorb other ppl's life force, turning them into vampires as well...and i wouldnt believe that if they stepped out into the sunlight, they would burn...and i wouldnt believe that they turned into bats...u know, things like that
but i do believe that there are "freaks" as u call them that do enjoy drinking other ppl's blood and might actually believe that they are vampires...for some reason...
