JWs believe that Jehovah is the Almighty God (Psalms 83:18), and Jesus is the Christ, the Son of Jehovah, and Jehovah's spirit is his active force, a part of the Father (called in the Bible as finger of God, see Luk 11:20).
Angels are also helping us today, and God uses the faithful and discreet slave (some serves as governing body) & overseers & elders in the congregation to direct the activities of his people today.
with regards to the term "governing body", I say it is scriptural. The phrase describes the body of true Christians who help the congregation.
Jesus is our the main governing one. (Miach 5:2)
The resurrected Jesus Christ is the heavenly Governor of his congregation of spiritual Israelites on earth. He is the one to whom the words quoted from Micah 5:2 apply: “And you, O Bethlehem of the land of Judah, are by no means the most insignificant city among the governors of Judah; for out of you will come forth a governing one (Heb mashal , meaning ruler, governor) who will shepherd my people, Israel.”
The Kingdom Interlinear reads: “Be you mindful of the ones governing [Gr., he•gou•me´non] of you.” Be obedient to those who are taking the lead among you and be submissive. —Heb. 13:7, 17, 24.
Forms of this same Greek word (hēgeomai) are found at Matthew 2:6; Luke 22:26; Acts 7:10; 15:22, where the meaning is similar, namely, that of governing, acting as chief or taking the lead. The Septuagint uses a form of this word in rendering Malachi 1:8: “Bring it near, please, to your governor [Gr., he•gou•me´nōi].”
Thus, it is evident that there were certain persons governing in the Christian congregation by the lead and guidance they gave their brothers in righteous works and godly principles.
In the first century, the elders and overseers in the various congregations certainly exercised “abilities to direct” in the local territories, as this was necessary for good coordination of the work and for peace and unity in the flock of God. Directive guidance is an essential part of the work of a shepherd.—Compare Acts 20:17, 28; 1 Timothy 3:4, 5; Titus 1:9.

Jehovah's Witnesses recognize Jehovah as the name of Almighty God.
(Matthew 4:10) It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service
(Luke 4:8) It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service
Jehovah's Witnesses also recognize the special power and authority of the resurrected Jesus Christ, the distinct person who is the Son of God. By some definition, Jesus can also be called "a god".
(Psalm 45:2-7) God has blessed you to time indefinite. Gird your sword upon your thigh, O mighty one...6 God is your throne to time indefinite, even forever; The scepter of your kingship is a scepter of uprightness. ...God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of exultation more than your partners.
(John 1:18) No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god [Jesus] who is in the bosom position with the Father is the one that has explained him.
These two are really the only key individuals in the Christian religion of Jehovah's Witnesses. Of course, angels and humans fill roles that are important to the future outworking of Jehovah's purposes, but none of these are named as individuals in the Scriptures. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the faithful apostles and other persons named in the Christian Greek Scriptures are counted among the spiritual Israel who rule in heaven with Jesus.

Jehovah is the diety or God. All members within in the congregation are treated as equals.
Mr. jwfacts06 you are right that Governing body is not in the bible but faithfull and discreet slave is in the bible and the two phrases are interchangable.
Also trinity is not in the bible so why don't you go and trash talk other relgions for that.

As with all cults, there are a group of leaders that must be obeyed without question, referred to as the "Governing Body" (which incidently is a term that does not appear in the bible)
Though the official teaching is that all the 'anointed' are part of the faithful and discrete slave the reality is that most of the anointed have no part in the development of doctrine, this is solely vetoed by the Governing Body.
To question that the Governing Body are directed by Jehovah, or to openly question doctrine is referred to as apostasy and can result in extreme shunning by family and friends after being disfellowshipped.
