If Christians don't have the same beliefs as the Jewish, why is the Christian faith based on the worship of a Jewish figure?

In the Bible earthquakes, floods, and droughts were all thought to come from God, now science tells us there is a reason for eveything. I don't understand why there aren't shows of God's powers anymore, or are there and we simple over look them, and look to science for an answer.

If so, please refer to me as 'moron' from now on, as I will not be

This jackass at my school finds it particularly necessary to pick on the Korean exchange student because her English is that great. Do people ever consider that these people know more but have had to learn things at a faster pace. Do people ever consider "Hey, I probrably sound prettty stupid trying to speak their language!". Does the ability to have local diction and usage down have some sort hierachy effect on everyone who is able to do so and some belittling quality to others?

Assuming that homosexuals are born that way (which I believe), would you be offended by the idea that it is a genetic flaw? What if it was scientificly found to be a genetic disorder? I'm asking in light of a conversation I had with a gay friend (he brought up the theory, not I). Just curious as to what the larger community had to say.

I have heard this, but I need an opinion, please.

If you take Starbuck's Verona coffee beans, grind them, put them in an espresso maker and brew it properly, in less than 30 seconds, you have the Will of God.

Is this accurate?
