Creative people have a highly developed right hand side of the brain, which means they look at everything from a creative point of view. This also extends to expressing themselves creatively.

Creativeness is independent of sexual orientation. However, a creative gay is probably more likely to express themselves than a non-creative gay, and is probably the reason why there appears to be a lot of "creative gays".

I don't think sexuality has anything to do with creativity. Perhaps it has more to do with straight guys being afraid others won't see them as masculine if they engage in things such as poetry writing or admitting they know how to style hair so they, or their gfs look good. Most straight guys, even those who aren't homophobic, absolutely do not want to be mistaken as gay themselves. Therefore, anything that seems stereotypically a "gay" thing to do for guys, they will avoid, or not admit to doing or knowing how to do.

I know a lot of gay guys who are very very creative. You see a lot of them at television land, they are hairdressers, comedians, singers etc. but of course, now we are talking about the stereotypical gay guys and this isn't correct for every gay. There are so many gays who arent like this. But it happens yes

The Gays I have met are very creative. They love gardens. They are usually good dressers. humm they are also designers, hairdressers, involved in 'lightweight' sports it appears. They also seem to have a particular way ot speaking. and many many gays are very good looking

i believe why we assume gay guys are more creative than typical straight guys is because, gays feel more comfortable to express themselves artistically , physcially, & verbally.

the stock answer is yes. however i suspect straight men are equally creative (just look at tattoos and tricked out cars) most just don't have the balls to go for it. where as we're (queers) used to standing out.
