Seems theres a mistake with this book, apparently millions follow the God in this book, and say its their rule book on how to live their life, but I see all these people who follow that religion eating shrimp, this book its called the Bible in Leviticus 11:9-12 says that shrimp is an abomination to God. But they are eating shrimp. The same Bible says that homosexual sex is an abomination before God in Leviticus 18:22; but these shrimp eaters criticize the gay community.

Are they being hypocritical?

OK, at our weekly church dinner, this older woman who is very......"eccentric" sits at our table.
Surprisingly, we all had a good time. I'm starting to think, "OK, maybe the "crazy church lady" isn't so bad..
Then, as I pass her later to get back to the table, she says loudly, "HAVE YOU GAINED WEIGHT??"
I go, "Have I?"
She calls, "ISN'T IT TRUE??"
At one time I was a size 10/12. Now I'm size 14. 5'9". 3 kids. Sue me.
First: What should I have replied?
Second: It's not like I'm fat! Am I? I thought that's, like, you know, NORMAL!

God distroyed Sadom and Galmora for multiple of sexual acts, many gay and unmarried. Adam was told to take a wife? Every prophet to live and those who "FOLLOWED" where not gay. Why? Because, God created man to procreate. NOT science but man to procreate. So how is it that a man can say God created him this way when God is the Same today , tomorrow, and forever? I understand that you can have these feelings, but you need to get over them just like the struggles I have had.

A school in Attleboro, Massachusetts has banned flag football, tag and any 'unsupervised' chasing games from being played at the school during recess. They claim it is dangerous and that the school is worried over being sued if someone gets hurt during one of these activities.

Is this going to an extreme and micro-managing the children and their recess activities?

i'm so stressed!! i think i really like this girl but i've never talked to her, so how should i know?? sometimes when i look at her i feel like it's right. idk why but the feeling is just so strong, i've never felt it with anyone else i've liked. but the bigger problem is, i have a boyfriend!!! and he's a cool guy and lots of fun to hang out with, but i don't think i like him like i thought i did...i'm just so confused on what to do...can somebody help me??

I would like to be a lot more friendly. I would like to make people comfortable in my home. Once I get rolling i'm pretty friendly. It's the askward newness, I usually have to be approached first. I think its a gift, to make people feel that way. The thing is i'm not shy or a push over, I don't know what it is, I can come off icy. I don't like that about myself, and I don't mean too, and i'm aware of it while i'm doing it.

Speaking semantically (meaning), I though that "any- (negation) -thing" were the same that "no- (negation) -thing".

Why cannot we say

"I don't want nothing"

but we can say

"I dont' want anything"?

Why?
