Is it red or burgundy velvet?

It differs were you are. Generally it is Burgundy or a dark royal purple. I have performed in both (I was Clara for 2 years). Never red though, not that I have ever seen.

I can't wait to find out too! I didn't know there was a tradition!!!!! I am taking my little girl for the first time this year and going with a friend who is bringing her granddaughter. I hope someone gives the answer........

yikes I was thinking lavender, probably burgundy though.

since its primarily in christmas most people do red/burgandy. or like a plaid.
