God distroyed Sadom and Galmora for multiple of sexual acts, many gay and unmarried. Adam was told to take a wife? Every prophet to live and those who "FOLLOWED" where not gay. Why? Because, God created man to procreate. NOT science but man to procreate. So how is it that a man can say God created him this way when God is the Same today , tomorrow, and forever? I understand that you can have these feelings, but you need to get over them just like the struggles I have had.

First of all God commanded us to get married to a spouse. IT WAS CLEAR that God said that man should leave his mother and father and cleave unto his WIFE. Also to the person that qouted Leviticus did you skip 13 where it says if a man sleep with another man they shall be put to DEATH. I'm not advocating death, because Christ created a new law, a higher law. This law is to show more love than the Law of Moses. But it is still understood that MAN AND MAN is a no no. Sodom and Gahmora was more than rape and orgies. As I see it Lots wife wanted to go back, because it was a care free place. There was absolutely no respect for the person as a creation of GOD at all.

Many gay or bisexual people believe in God.

In the Jewish scriptures, Adam was told to take a wife--but there was no Steve then as an alternative, was there? Couldn't God have invented homosexuality later?

How do you know that none of the prophets of scripture was homosexual? Perhaps some were and the fact simply wasn't mentioned.

If God made the bodies of man and woman, then he also made the sex act pleasurable. Why would he do that if, as you propose, man was created simply to procreate?

I believe there is a Spirit within and all around us. Call it God, Allah, Buddah or whatever you want. It is all the same. The Spirit loves all. It is Organized Religion, that makes people ashamed of what and who they are. Spirit does not cause fear. Spirit does not cause hate. Spirit wants people to live to their FULL POTENTIAL, whatever that potential may be. You do not have to be part of an organized religion to let Spirit into your life and heart. I speak to Spirit often, when the time strikes me. I do not have to be in a church that tells me I am not good enough because I had premarital sex. That I will burn in hell for it. Spirit doesn't care about that. Spirit has so much forgiveness for our perceived transgressions, it never ends. So, if you are unhappy with the way you are treated within organized religion, There are others out there that do not ostracize people for being gay, or having made mistakes in their lives. Unfortunately, everyone equates Christianity with the Catholic Church. Jesus was Enlightened. He would welcome you into his arms as his own. It doesn't matter that you are gay. It is the people who grovel in the dirt of their minds that shun you. Rise above them and KNOW that Spirit is ALWAYS with you, and LOVES YOU UNCONDITIONALLY.

Of course many gay people believe in God. And guess what? God loves every gay person every bit a much as he loves you.

The problem with Sodom and Gomorra was rape and orgies.

Now, if you want to follow Leviticus, go clean your house Here are the instructions.

Lev 14
[49] And for the cleansing of the house he shall take two small birds, with cedarwood and scarlet stuff and hyssop,
[50] and shall kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water,
[51] and shall take the cedarwood and the hyssop and the scarlet stuff, along with the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the bird that was killed and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times.
[52] Thus he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedarwood and hyssop and scarlet stuff;
[53] and he shall let the living bird go out of the city into the open field; so he shall make atonement for the house, and it shall be clean."

That's a rather harsh presumption. Yes there are gay people that believe in God, some people choose to interpret the Bible differently, for example the fact that it condemns homosexual offenders - consensual sex is not an offense.

On the basis that you have assumed, do you conclude that people who have premarital sex do not believe in God?

I don't take the scriptures litarally.
Gays/ Lesbians, bisexuals etc... believe in G0d as much as straight people do It's a matter of choice to belive or be atheists and has nothing to do with sexual orientation.

Can you prove that some Prophets did not have at least bi-sexual tendencies.look at the number of priests that have been caught and how many in the past got away with the act.

As a believer myself, I believe they are made this way, we are sinners, we can not do good things, we as sinners do not seek after God. This goes for liars, thieves, adultueres, and unbelievers, none is righteous, no not one.

Wait a minute there is Hope.

Of course they do. There are gay ministers and priests. I knew one and he was an extremely good man.

Katzme: You're comparing apples and oranges. Homosexuality is not a crime, nor does it harm anyone. The things you cite are crimes.

It does not matter if they believe in God. Even the demons know and tremble. Homosexuality is an abomination in the face of God. I'm sure the athiests will bring up something about catholic priests, but they are not Christians. They decieve even the elect, as it is written.
