still follow traditional beliefs? Why they worship a cross , empty building with god pictures painted , or god's simbols. Or pray 5times looking at one side. Does this stupid activities attract GOD ? Why people are so dumb to follow uneducated priests who just mummble with old script writtings?

Jesus said to love your enemies-not blow them up and little children with suicide bombs-and other muslims say its bad but some say its a holy war against unbelievers-yet how many will support Jesus and get and give out the gospel of true love and forgivness with Jesus in their heart born again as he tells us to do John chapter 3

some muslims think they will recieve heaven for killing those that dont agree with them and get lots of wives-for a ticket to heaven-

Muhamad-married a 9 year old girl-and claimed Jesus never died-get a life-when you follow one as this you have to give up your God of delusion-and no wonder some teach the opposite of Jesus-
-of course most mask it and say-Jesus lied when he said "My words will never pass away" "Love your enemies"

Please no generalized predictable answers like "stupid foriegn policies", "loud and ignorant", "forcing there will on the rest of the world", etc. I am talking about America and Americans as a whole and not particularly their government's foreign and domestic policies or the number of racist and neo-con citizens. Again this is like saying a person doesn't like the British because they are football hooligans or snobby and Australians are literal (generally more than Americans) and uncouth. I feel I have the insight here as someone born in Australia, lived extensively in America and currently reside in England (where my mother is from). As the 2000 elections showed, more people voted other than Republican, and more embarrassment and anger over Iraq and some dubiosity over certain cliqued small mindness (ie the preconception of mindless views, founded and unfounded, from certain "bible-belted" areas) come from a large number of ration citizens. Please discuss.

I have alot of unexplained experiences. I have always had them since I can remember, seeing appirations, feeling energys, and the ability to heal others with word, suggestions, and touch. I also have the ability to pull someone into my dreams. My daughter has alot of the same abilities, and my son who is 3 talks to himself as if he was talking to another person quite frequently in rooms where there is no one else. My husband has alot of the same abilities but sometimes doesent embrace them, because he believes that existance of everything is fluke, and then their is the god man created. Frequently he gets the same reoccurring dream
something is staring over him and he can see it in his peripheal vision, but is very frightened by it that he wakes himself up because he literally will stop breathing. can anyone tell me their opinion of this I have my own but want to know others opinion.
And please if you really dont know than dont leave insulting remarks.

but cannot take care of a single one of them? The kids are all on welfare and have 10 different dads and all the mom cares about is getting her check and going out to the bar to find another man. Children's services doesn't do ****. Don't say it isn't my business because the kids grow up and are robbing and killing everyone cause their mama was a ho! I thought women had a maternal instinct that made them want to be a good parent so how is this lifestyle benefitting anyone but themselves?
Oh and I'm not talking about all big families, only the women who have kid after kid in order to get welfare.....

Do they actually think this is helpful? Have they considered this may be offensive to those of other faiths?

Surely this practice is only going to be of comfort to somebody who is also a Christian, iIn which case they have, surely, read the bible and it has not provided them with the answer to their question - repeating it probably isn't going to change anything.

For non-Christians, this is simply going to be either confusing, irrelevant, insulting, annoying - or any combination of these.

Is it that these people are so indoctrinated, they are unable to have a thought or emotion of their own? Or is it that they are so bigoted, they cannot comprehend the possibility that their personal belief system may not actually be the be all and end all of any action, thought or emotion experienced anywhere in the universe?

Certainly there is a place for qutation in reasoned discussion of the wider issues of the subject- but not everyone wants it.

Cue unsolicited biblical quotes..

I am trying to teach my-self scottish gaelic, I would like to buy a good book. I found this one and was wondering if anyone else had heard of it.
A Pronouncing and Etymological Dictionary of the Gaelic Language.

If you know of a better book, or web site, please tell me. I would like something that helps with pronouncation, I haven't found much to help with it.

Why does god love those who suffer and follow him . I did everything he told pepole to do . And I'm always misable . My family is always being mean to me and hard to me. They yell at me for everything. They tell me to clean the house and they never tells my sister to do anything . She's lazy and get's away with everything. I dont like for who Ia'm . I'm always try to do good and be nice to everybody . Sometimes I dont want to live anymore. The only reason I keep going is my boyfriemd who's always there for me He want's to marry me and want's me to have his kids someday .And the other reason I live is because of my little kitten JJ.It seems like I never do anything right. my sister that she is so perfect. Please give me advice. Why does god want's me to be unhappy . Does he even care? They want me to be like her , but I'm not . PLEASE HELP. I'm going crazy.

Why do parents ignore their kids so much in public? I work at a job where I get to see kids and parents all day long, Emergency room..and when the parents are in the waiting room with their kids...they are reading magazines and not even paying attention to the kids until they start getting loud and out of control....but its so obvious that these kids just want attention....and its not just a 1 in 10 thing..its almost all parents...whats up with that?

I have no doubt that God is real. I have no doubt that Jesus is real. I do doubt that your religion is real. I can make a blanket statement like "your religion" because there is no religion on Earth that is right. I heard one of the ommitted gospels quotes Jesus as saying something along the lines of God can be found within. If this is true, it seems that God is more likely to be found in quiet contemplation than in a Church. Why does religion keep us from God?

I am just lighting on this subject, and have learned a few inconsistencies, but i want to know more.
One is that Catholics believe that Peter was the first pope. They believe this because in Matt. 16:18 Jesus founds the Church. In Fact the Church was founded on Himself, not Peter.
Also, they have seen fit to exclude the second commandment(The Roman Catholic Church, that is)which says "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth."(Ex. 20:4) Their uses of icons broke this commandment. They excluded it and split the last one in half.
