but cannot take care of a single one of them? The kids are all on welfare and have 10 different dads and all the mom cares about is getting her check and going out to the bar to find another man. Children's services doesn't do ****. Don't say it isn't my business because the kids grow up and are robbing and killing everyone cause their mama was a ho! I thought women had a maternal instinct that made them want to be a good parent so how is this lifestyle benefitting anyone but themselves?
Oh and I'm not talking about all big families, only the women who have kid after kid in order to get welfare.....

Not only is it our business because the kids grow up to be criminals, but where do you think welfare money comes from? Our taxes! So if you have a job, the reason you only get about 2/3 of the money you worked for is because the rest of it is going into the pockets of people like these. Even those kids who come from this environment and don't turn to crime, were not raised, so they don't have any hope of becoming productive members of society. All they know is what they saw growing up, so they will be the next generation of welfare recipients and baby machines. So yes, the welfare board, children's services, taxpayers, everyone should be furious that this is allowed to continue.

Whoa...sweetie, calm down, did ya just get done watching COPS or something.
Your huffy comments and questions arent goung to change the status of our welfare system, or the lifestyles of women in this country.
There are a lot of problems in this world, in our country, and in the system- what good is it to dwell.
Yes women are supposed to have maternal instinct, which i do as a mother or soon-to-be three children (and from two different fathers)but , if one doesnt its not your problem- and if you are going to capitol hill to make a difference fine- but no one wants to hear whining or slander.

No one is perfect- dont look at the splinter in someone elses eye when you have a 2x4 in your own!

There should be some type of law so you can only be on welfare for a certain amount of years then you need a job then if you have a job and need help still the government should help cause you are trying to do something other than being lazy I hate people with mad kids and no job not going to school not doing anything and I know a couple that need to do something with themselves

Wow, you should change your circle of friends if they are exhibiting this type of behavior.

These kids seem to turn out just like a lot of the kids That it went to William and Mary with. The guy from my accounting class was convected last year of robbing the company he worked for of over a million dollars. His mom was a single mother by choice she got him and his 6 brothers from a sperm bank and then she was convected of securities fraud and they had to go on welfare the only way he got to college was because she could not dip in to his education fund.

This other kid was convicted of killing his wife for a million dollar insurance policy. If I remember correctly this was back in 1996 his parents were divorced and his mom had to go on welfare after his father divorced her.

Come to think of it he use to talk about how she hung out at the country club looking for a rich man to take her off welfare and put her in a life of style . The poor woman even spend welfare to afford to keep her membership

I agree with you that things are out of hand

I agree with you and its really unfortunate for the children because they are the ones that really suffer. The welfare system is designed for people like these because if you have a mother with one child that just needs a little help, she gets a bunch of grief and no help but the mothers with 5 kids 5 baby daddies and no job, no education are the ones that get assistance. Yeah, its a touchy subject...

I don't think anyone has ever had a child just to get welfare, but I am disheartened by women who continue to have children, even though they are unfit in every sense of the word. If this is some sort of dig at black people, the women I speak of happen to be white...

Same thing happens here in the UK. It is sad isn't it? Using kids to increase their income though benefits. I think you should only get benefits for the first two kids, if you choose to have more than two then you have find other means of feeding them. I know when people have multiple pregnancies it can't be helped, so maybe they should waiver multiple births from this rule.
If people realised they would'nt get paid for baby no.3... and anymore after maybe they would stop producing like rabbits.

Put me into power I'd shake up the system LOL....... :)

their behaviour stems from mental/emotional problems that were not addressed when the woman was younger. sometimes resultant of abuse of family and peers, sometimes due to myriad neurosis, such is a real problem.

perhaps there should be a cap as to the amount of children per mother wellfare will support? keep in mind that such is simply a spur of the moment suggestion. of Course there are many factors to be considered in such cases.

however, before you go around calling people "ho", you might want to think about life from the point of view of an impoverished wellfare mother. no sense in piling up extra bad karma if you do not have to.

This correlates to an overall breakdown in society. Many children are not taught to be responsible for their actions by their parents, teachers, and society in general. Many of them grow up thinking that sex is a right and not a responsibility, and therefore you see young girls getting pregnant by young guys who are unable to provide for them and the children or be father figures. Just as parenting is best provided by married adults, so too sex itself with the potential to create life should be kept within the confines of marriage between mature, responsible and economically stable adults.

You're falling victim to stereotypes and the social rumor mill. I defy you to find one real instance where this is actually happening. I have never seen a welfare program which even comes close to covering the cost of a child. My point is that with every child a person on welfare has, they will actually become poorer and poorer. I am not saying that there are people on welfare who have a lot of kids, but it is not to make money. In addition, these instances are quite rare.
