Okay well we all know that the bible was set in the middle east, so why do people portry jesus as being white?! Do you think he was white? I am just looking for different opinions i know what i beleive and that is that there is no way jesus was white. I just want some other veiws on the matter.

religion in schools that we want atheism there? What would make you think that? It's quite ridiculous to me. Is it that since you have an agenda to indoctrinate young minds you think we atheists do to?

I want my children to have an education that is completely lacking in any doctrine. I believe that it is the parents responsibility to teach them their religion/spirituality. I don't want atheism, islam, christianity, buddhism or any other religious beliefs of any kind in school.

couple girls told me that I will do a lot better with tips from the regular guys if I wear tiny shorts, mini skirts...tight tops etc...and not to wear my wedding ring or diamond....I want to make as much money as possible should I do this? I am 28. They also said I should NEVER talk about my husband....

i asked the question - " how do i know god answers prayers? what does it mean ' god answers prayers ' ? "

i got a lot of great answers. in reading them i got to thinking about a close freind of mine. hes dealing with some crap in his life and yet he PRAYS for me. someone said in their answer " pray for someone you know who needs help, whose benefit would not benefit you AT ALL " and my freind tells me im getting answers. ( my life is turning out great and i think its partly because of my freind )

that person said " dont let it benift YOU at all " what i get from this is i must be to wrapped up in my own stuff to pray for someone else, completly for them. clearly i need HELP. so my question now is ..

How do I get over myself enough to be able to really pray for someone I care about?

You may name more than one person, but it would be helpful for me to know the most authoritative answerers according to their religious backgrounds, if you know what they are. The phone rang and by the time I got to it my answering machine picked up and recorded our conversation. He told me his name and that he was from the Marines then I hung up and my machine continued to record and he called me a vulgar name after I wouldn't respond. Who do I report this to?

Talking Truth to the Muslim World
Father Zakaria Boutros looks like a mild-mannered, unassuming priest. But his message is rocking much of the Muslim world.

His television program called 'Truth Talk' is broadcast daily into the Middle East over the Al-Hiyat satellite channel. On it, he challenges Muslims to examine what he says are inconsistencies in Islamic doctrine – inconsistencies that he says Muslim leaders don't want exposed and ordinary Muslims are told never to question.

“Islam cannot stand in front of intellectual questions and no one can understand because of contradictions in Koran, contradictions in Hadith, contradictions and false doctrines. So they don't want anybody to ask and to learn. 'This is Islam, you have to accept it as it is' lest you should be killed,” Zakaria said.

Father Zakaria doesn't stop at challenging the teachings of Islam. He also questions the Prophet Mohammed himself, who Zakaria says had his mind set on wordly pursuits.

“He said that his concerns are three things: women, perfume, and food,” he said. “Where is the kingdom of God? Where is the glory of God? Where is the salvation? Where is love? Where is the mission of a true Prophet of God?”

Father Zakaria's broadcasts have generated intense anger in the Muslim world and there's a $60 million bounty on his head. But he makes no excuses for his confrontational style.

He says the provocative statements are designed to challenge Muslims to examine their faith.

“This is my way: short, sharp, shock for the unconscious,” Zakaria said

If you want to believe in god or a little guy with a pitchfork, my hats off to you, seriously I can respect your ignorance as just that. But why are these people trying to convince our children, with such a fervency, that their illusions are ultimate truth. This is absolute insanity. Has anyone read the bill of rights recently? What is happening to our nation? Seriously, if you are dumb enough to believe in all this stuff, you need to expand your reading and circle of friends... Be it through paganism.the burning bush or various saints,GODS or GODDESSES, this causes confusion to some that do not understand that a truth given to a person, at a particular point in their spiritual growth, is like prescription drugs. it does not fit all occations.
