All the statements from leaders in moderate Islam seem to be soft-footing, and yet there is so much at stake in their taking a position against intolerance. Are they afraid, and if so, of what?

A negative correlation means that as one increases the other decreases. Meaning as smarter you get, the levels of religiosity drops. As more religious you are, the levels of intelligence drop. And this has been the case in most studies, though granted some very frew studies found little correlation. Before you say, this doesn't mean you can't find ONE or TWO guys with 250 IQ that are ultra religious; this means on AVERAGE the smarter you are the less religious you are, vice-versa.

Please do not think of this as an insult or a cheap shot. I really want to know why you think smarter people thend to be less religious.

The Holy Spirit of God obviously dwelled in Jesus. Just like in anyone else who desires to have Gods Holy Spirit dwell within them. I'm not God. It looks like Jesus wasn't either. Thank you for your answers this morning. I'm done.

Jack Straw set us talking about this.
Is it something these ladies wear over normal clothes when going out in the way that I wear a coat or is it like their equivalent to skirt and blouse, or indeed their only garment like a nuns habit.
Do they take it off when indoors, could they take it off with an acceptable degree of modesty when talking to Jack Straw.
Any chance of a serious answer.

here is the deal, I've been dating a "white" guy and every now and then I do get slight comments from from people of my own colour, saying things like am a "sell-out" and so on......so I just wanted to get views of what you people think.

If an atheist only rolls their eyes and doesn't even bother to tell you that your beliefs are stupid, isn't that worse. If the atheist is trying to 'talk sense' to you, isn't that a sign that the atheist doesn't think you are a total kook?
