"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

Depending on the meaning of 'easier', there are a couple of ways to look at it.
If easier is to literally be understood as requiring less effort:
In terms of Judeo-Christian dogma, the easiest path is often the path of ruin. Whether getting ahead by thievery or dishonesty as opposed to work, or failing to aid those in need, the lack of effort is seen as selfish and / or dishonest. Sloth is one of the seven deadly sins.
If easier is meant to imply common perception:
Judeo-Christian teachings and we as a society, tend to focus more on our faults, as opposed to our positive traits. Even when dealing with ourselves, we tend to remember our failings more vividly than our triumphs. Our media is far more likely to fill the front pages with wars and the terrible actions of a very few. This leaves the impression that the world is full of sin and evil. It doesn't take into account the goodness and kind actions of millions on a daily basis. The expanded media and 24 hour news cycle leaves us with the idea that things are so much worse than they used to be. So I would argue that it is easy to find both.

Proximity is the answer. Satan has been living here with us since his banishment from heaven, while God has remained there in heaven all along. Any wonder then that Satan is easier to find?

Altho I don't see God/Satan as a Christian, this is my opinion. I think we've made the world what it is-crime, hate, etc. Our brains are used to that so anything else goes unnoticed. We're not looking deep enough to find the good because we're preoccupied with everything else.

Satan knows that he has a short time left so therefore he is going to & fro, seeking whom he may devour, But we don't have to FIND God, He is not the one that is lost, it is us that has sinned , It is God that finds us, because it is mankind that sinned.

Actually its really simple to find God.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
