I have been reading a lot lately regarding Revelations and The Bible's prophecies for the End Times...it is certainly a subject to make you think!
Do you think we are in the End Times now? Do you think we are approaching the End Times?

It seems that some people on here are pretty stuffy about things. I tend to find humor in everything, especially when I'm being insulted by people that don't know me. How about you? Do you take the opinion of a stranger seriously?

I would really like to know the logic behind the soul. I thought that everyone knew that all our cognitive functions and thoughts came from our brain. It turns out, some people believe some magical thing called the soul has something to do with making us us. I want to know what the soul is believed to do. Where is the soul located? Is it just a coincidence that people believe that it's in the head (where our brain happens to be)? If someone is in an accident and part of their brain is damaged, they sometimes become a different person. Is their soul damaged too? If the soul is entirely magical and in no way physical, wouldn't science be able to detect which part of us it influences, since that part wouldn't be attributed to anything physical part of us?

Does this show people are more concerned with NOT going to hell than rather GOING to heaven? Is this indicative of the fear inherent to choosing a religion? Are people just more pessimistic and have imagined hell far more than heaven? What does the ratio mean.

“…'Aisha further said, "Once the Prophet was screening me and I was watching the DISPLAY OF BLACK SLAVES IN THE MOSQUE and ('Umar) scolded them.” http://www.islamicity.com/mosque/sunnah/bukhari/015.sbt.html#002.015.103
"Allah's Apostle was on a journey and he had a BLACK SLAVE called Anjasha, and he was driving the camels" http://www.islamicity.com/mosque/sunnah/bukhari/073.sbt.html#008.073.182

If you are wondering how even one black person could believe in a religion, whose founding prophet enslaved members of their own race, let me say, in defense of blacks, that many Africans arent aware of these Hadiths even though they are from the popular and widely accepted "Bukari".

Furthermore, most blacks, as with all other races, havent studied the history of slavery and thus are not aware the Islam is easily the greatest slave trading institution of all human history. They commercialized slavery and established the first trade routes. They feed them even today.

The letter will be addressed to mostly teens, so I was just wondering what you would have liked to see if you were a teen who came across this letter, or think I should make sure to include. It'll be in a question answer format, and shouldn't be any longer than a page, but if it exceeds it's okay- as long as I get the message out there. This is for National Coming Out Day.

PS: Sorry for any spelling errors and such.

How many of you, those who actually smoke enjoy the cigarette? How many of you were influenced by any film star smoking on the silver screen and how many of you feel smoking should be banned from all movies.
One final question - if by circumstances ( cancer for example ) one had to stop smoking how many ( thruthfully please ) would say that they would revert to smoking if they had been cured totally and were now like their original selves?

Why is it today, the way our parents and grandparents were raised and disciplined is viewed negatively. No one wants to discipline the "old way". But, if you think about it, they turned out fairly well. Our elders are gentle, friendly, faith believers but young people today are running rampade doing what they wish.
Is society today afraid our of young. Do we really care about their futures? If they are to be the leaders of tomorrow, we need to guide them in the right path.
If it worked for past generations, IT WILL WORK today!

This comes from a 27yr old female. : )
