Do u agree with the fact that christianty and muslim wre responsible for viping out most of ancient relegion?

It does not matter if one agrees or disagrees. Fact is fact and it is a historical fact that the Roman Church did in fact wipe out most of these.. I am not sure if Muslims had much to do with it though. One method the church used to wipe these out was to appease the pagans they forcefully took over by converting their pagan holy days into Christian holidays. That is where we get all the so called christian holidays from including Christmas and Easter.

Muslims may have had a big hand in this, but since I was never a muslim, I never studied that side of the issue.

The fact that some of us pagans overlook though is how pagans in Rome tried to destroy the church in the first and second century.

Christians were accused of being atheists because they believed in only one God. They also were accused of being cannibals because Rome did not understand the concept of their communion.

I am pagan and former Christian and I have never been afraid of historical fact. what was done then in the name of religion whether Christian or pagan has no bearing on me as a pagan nor when I was Christian.

OpenMinded wrote nonsense, Christianity was spread by violence to a large extend, this is not according to the teachings of Jesus but it is reality. And of course it is a fact that these ancient religions were replaced by Christianity or Islam, no matter if it was done by force or people converted without force. Anyway force was not the only reason for this but I also think somehow many people thought these religions were better than their old religions or the old religions had nothing that made people very firm on it, I say this because Judaism could survive as a minority religion in spite of severe pressure and violence against Jews over two millenia.

I dont think you can compare muslim with Christianity. Muslim are full of violent, full of hate with other religion, full pleasure for men. In Islam all the pervert and sex maniac are good man because they can married 2/3/4 wife without any divorce and it is also call saving the poor by married. COOL

In Christians, we cannot use any of violent to protect our religion, We are suppose to love, forgivess and pray for our enemy. We dont hate other releigion. Men and women are same right. Men cannot have more than 1 wife, that is big sin.

So do not compare Christians with Muslim. Peace and Violent and different way.
