There is no evil in God. The devil and Satan are one in the same person.

It's a part of speach thing. God and Satan are names like David or Sarah so there is no need to add 'the' before the. "I talked to David yesterday.";"I talked to God yesterday."
Devil is a thing not a name, the 'the' is what makes it a proper noun. it is like refering to God as the creator.

Because in English "God" and "Satan" are proper names, and "devil" is simply a noun (from the Greek "diabolos," meaning one who divides or throws things apart).

In other languages, however, the article is used for all three.

Because GOD is His name! "The devil" isn't Satan's name. Your question doesn't even make logical sense....

I think it is like proper noun/title-type stuff. You can think of "god" and "satan" as names - however, satan's "title" is "the devil"...just like your supervisor is "the manager" instead of "the bob".

This is a language question, not a religion and spirituality question. Try again in the proper section.
