Do you think that it will suppress the conversational skills of person to person? Do you think that these children are spoiled? I have the money to be able to give my child a cell phone, but I would never allow him to have one until he is old enough to handle that responsibility.

Contrary to popular beliefs true faith is not blind. It is based on proof. Here are some biblical examples:
1. Gideon ask proof from God before going to war.
2. David always ask from God before going to war. So, he won many of his battles.
3. The Israelites had faith in God--but sadly lost it afterwards--because they were given miracolous proofs.
4. The disciples of Jesus became disciples because they have seen proof of his being the Son of God. Their faith was strengthened by these proof that they died defending their faith.

5. Abraham's faith in God was based on his knowledge that God can resurrect the dead. So, even if he would kill Isaac God would be able to resurrect him. ( Hebrews 11:19)

6. The Beareans only believed that Jesus was the Messiah when they thoroughly studied the Scriptures. ( Acts 17:11)

So, what is the basis of your faith?

Is this only a male phenomenon? My husband is determined to verbally reprimand & remind every driver in his viewing space that they've forgotten to put on their turning signal, or some other "Yes, it's important, but not vital to the world spinning on it's axis" issue. Of course the other drivers never get the benefit of my precious husbands tirade, only I do! It doesn't improve anyones driving skills and it can (if I'm not well prepared with extra patience) ruin a really nice afternoon together. Is my husband the only person to do this? He is typically a very calm, non talkative person. But other people's driving mistakes send him over the edge. I'd hate to have him driving behind me, and always pray that who ever might be behind me, be more understanding and accept my smile and waved apologies when they are necessary. What is up with this? Can it be trained out of them?

I do't like it when people place their Bibles on their coffee tables or upright like in a bookstore.

Haven't these people read Matthew 6?
(PLEASE READ IT FOR YOURSELF BEFORE ANSWERING)

When good, innocent people suffer at the hands of evil, brutal people, why does God not intervene? Why does God just let it happen and let millions of people die?
During WWII, if He somehow killed Hitler and Stalin with His intervention, tens of millions of innocent people wouldn't have died. Same for other terrible leaders, too.
What purpose is He trying to deliver by letting so many innocent people like that die? If He is trying to teach us a lesson through that, does He think it is worth the expense of all the innocent people?

Religious tolerance is a two way street. They claim they are a loving, forgiving religion but yet they do nothing but give themselves a bad name and make others want to avoid them by saying "my religion is right and yours is crap/made up, etc."

People on Yahoo!Answers are always saying that by only seeing a girl in her eyes, you can know her feeling towards you (love/do not).

Is it true? If yes, how can we "decipher" her feelings only by her eyeball?
