Numerous text from history including text from the koran prove that Muhammad preached violence. What kind of God approves of violent ways. How can a people follow a religion that preaches such violence as strapping a bomb to their young child and sending the inocent child out to kill others. Why doesn't the parent strap the bomb to themselves? How can a loving parent do such a thing?

I don't think it can be justified and thus I shut my mind to such evil and forbid to see Islam as a religion. I see it as an evil in this world.

there is a connection between the Quran and life.

as you know we 1st are babies, child, teens, youth, adults, old. the period of time between babies to youth is long, then it keep speeding up, then during the old time life become very fast. i noticed the same thing with the Quran, have you ever noticed the first chapters are little bit slower, then it starts to speed up in the middel of the Quran?
at the last pages of the Quran, you feel like u r running.

For me, i must admit in the church there are some who are pious but i just can't really see their love for others, there is still a distance, esp the religious. but through my experience, as the Lord never despise me, but yet continue to lift me out of my miseries, plus many encounters those who are sinful in the eyes of men, and given me the opportunitites to listen to their pain, and share their hurt, this strengthen my relationship with the Lord.

To me, the Lord is truely someone who sits and eats with sinners like me and those i encounter, as in the bible he did with the tax collectors and prostitutes (pardon for using this crude word). I would not have come thus far if he is not such a humble and compassionate God.

Here is my take on it: without the years and years of slave labor, America might not be the super power it is today. It may not be the job of the government, but don't you think the American industries who benefited greatly from slave labor owe something to slave's ancestors?

PS if your comment starts with "It was so many years ago/get over it" you can save yourself the trouble, as I've heard that one before...

Then were off shopping and going out for lunch, this should be excruciating! He's always hitting on the waiters ( I may have mentioned He's really very Gay. I believe the intent is what is important. I love to have anyone send good intentions my way. I also have nothing against Christians even though I left my Christian beliefs behind a long time ago. Prayer is intent and I accept all good intentions sent my way. Agree or disagree?

How many women out there would be open to "plural" or "celestial" marriage? On the show this man (he had a massive ego and you could tell by the Spencer-esqe T-shirts he wore) told his first wife 21 years ago that he could never be faithful. While she served away in the military he got another woman pregnant and later "spiritually" married her. They tried bringing a 3rd wife in recently, but I got the feeling that they used her for her money because they accepted her while times were tough but once the husband got his PH.D they booted her out! There must be enough women who are willing to live like this due to the fact that "plural" marriages still exist. What would you do if your husband wanted to bring another woman into your marriage? Honest answers please, none of the "I'd kick his *** to the curb" type of thing because thats a given response... I am just amazed at how these men can manipulate and concinve these women that this is a better way of life. ( They looked very sad)

i was on last night and asked every one to pray for my dad as he is in hospital, i will no more tomarrow when i go see him, but last night while i pray 4 my dad, with everyone elce praying as well, i felt like god was with me, to let me no that he will b ok, so i try to trust in god that he will bring my dad back home to me and make him well again, i hve never felt so close to god, like i did last night, im still worried for my dad but when i pray i feel a little better, thank you every one who paryed for my dad i love you all and may god keep you all happy and well

I have strayed away from the catholic faith and wondered if anyone has converted from catholic to presbyterian.
