The story of Eden is symbolic. It shows us we have the right
to make our own choices. The "tree" symbolizes the dimensions
of reality as they rise up from where we are to where the Source of Life is.
Eve, being made from Adams "rib", the middle of his body. Shows that woman is not above or below a man. But equal to him in the eyes of God. In Genesis, God tells them to REPLENISH the Earth. The prefix (RE) means "to do again".
The theory of evolution says there is a "mising link". What if they
are both right? And the first humans were created by lesser gods
, using genetics. And it's just a fact a spirit has to live in a human for it to survive. And God eventually mde a "better" human
for our spirits to live in?

It is a creation myth. Accept that fact. It is a creation myth just like all the other creation myths. Examples?
Australian Aborigine Creation Myth:
There was a time when everything was still. All the spirits of the earth were asleep - or almost all. The great Father of All Spirits was the only one awake. Gently he awoke the Sun Mother. As she opened her eyes a warm ray of light spread out towards the sleeping earth. The Father of All Spirits said to the Sun Mother,
"Mother, I have work for you. Go down to the Earth and awake the sleeping spirits. Give them forms."
African Bushmen Creation Myth:
People did not always live on the surface of the earth. At one time people and animals lived underneath the earth with Kaang (Käng), the Great Master and Lord of All Life. In this place people and animals lived together peacefully. They understood each other. No one ever wanted for anything and it was always light even though there wasn't any sun. During this time of bliss Kaang began to plan the wonders he would put in the world above.
Greek Creation Myth:
In the beginning there was an empty darkness. The only thing in this void was Nyx, a bird with black wings. With the wind she laid a golden egg and for ages she sat upon this egg. Finally life began to stir in the egg and out of it rose Eros, the god of love. One half of the shell rose into the air and became the sky and the other became the Earth. Eros named the sky Uranus and the Earth he named Gaia. Then Eros made them fall in love.
Hebrew/Christian Creation Myth:
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
Japanese Creation Myth:
Long ago all the elements were mixed together with one germ of life. This germ began to mix things around and around until the heavier part sank and the lighter part rose. A muddy sea that covered the entire earth was created. From this ocean grew a green shoot. It grew and grew until it reached the clouds and there it was tranformed into a god. Soon this god grew lonely and it began to create other gods. The last two gods it made, Izanagi anf Izanami, were the most remarkable.

Adam and Eve had sons and daughters(Genesis 5:4) Only three sons are mentioned though and they were Cain,Abel and Seth. Abel was murdered by his brother Cain, leaving two sons and also daughters. At the time of our first parents, family members married one another and produced children..“But such a union is incest!” some may object, It must be remembered, however, that circumstances were different in earlier times. Adam and Eve were created perfect, and the instruction for them ‘to multiply and fill the earth’ would necessarily require that their offspring marry one another and reproduce. (Gen. 1:28) But as perfect humans, their children would have been perfect as were their parents.
Even though Adam and Eve sinned and became imperfect, Cain and his brothers and sisters were still so near to physical perfection that the children they produced did not suffer the same adverse effects as do children born of such unions today. Even some 2,000 years afterward, God’s faithful servant Abraham married his half-sister Sarah, and God did not disapprove. (Gen. 20:12) It was yet another 450 years or so before God saw fit to provide his nation of Israel a body of laws that forbade incest on penalty of death. (Lev. 18:8-17) By that time imperfection had apparently developed to such an extent that no longer was it safe for close relatives to marry.
The answer is provided right within the Bible, and it becomes obvious when the Bible account is read carefully.

Even if the story of Adam and eve isn't true (of course it isn't) there was a globas disaster that hit human populations on the earth some thousands and thousands of years ago (i'm not sure how many) but i do know the it reduced our genetic pool to somthing as low as 20,000. From that 20,000 or so all humans on the earth have descended...you go figure if there is incest. Basically gentic mapping has showed were all from the same few thousand ppl. Could this be where the mythology of adam and eve comes from? Perhaps...

That is an excellent question. What I understand from the Bible is that Adam ans Eve lived many many years and in that time, they had Cain and Abel, their first children. However these would not have been the only children. God instructed them to "be fruitful and multiply". So, there would have been a lot of children. Was it incest? Hmmm!! To today's standards possibly, but to the standards back then, they didn't really have much other choice, so brothers and sisters would have more than likely married.

the Bible says they were the first created- not the only created.
There were others and most people think that Adam and Eve were a representation of mankind as a whole. Not the only two people made.
If you go back and read any version you will see where it says they were the first- never does it mention only.
Hope this helps you. It really is a remarkable story and once you get into it you have to read closely or you can get lost in the translation.

Listen, Scientist have proved it that through genetic testing any bodies parents, brothers or close relatives can be found out.
Gengis Khans Decendents bear his Genitic Signature till this day and many poeople are Direct and Indirect desendents of Gengis Khan.
If Adam and Eve were the orignal than we would all have similar physical features and better yet a similar genetic code, which we do not.
Besides were Adam and Eve Black, White, Chinese, Hispanic ,Red
or Multiracial ?Ask this to the Architects of such a foolish concept.

Actually Adam and Eve had more children just the others were born after they were thrown from heaven. And yes the kids did sleep together, you have to remember this was after the begining of sin not while in heaven. Still pretty weird to think of but incest does get watered down with each "normal" relationship paring afterwards.

Why is this of such a major concern, and from a female? Since the first female caused so much trouble in the Garden, women have been the bane of existence to man since the dawn of time on this planet. All text concerning the events of the populating of the planet has taken on an air of femininity; the truth is that Cain and Abel were women. By the way Incest is best, cousins make dozens and they all come from an aunt hole!

Adam and Eve had many other children (us included) and they were told by God to go forward and multiply. So in order to do that brother slept with sister, sister with brother and so on. Incest was not known then. Adam also lived until he was well over 900 y/o, you can have plenty of kids within that time frame.
That is why I believe we are all brothers and sisters.
