I agree. I am a Humanist, but I always appreciate it when my friends and family who are believers say they are praying for me when I'm sick, or someone in my family is ill. It's a very sincere thing for them, sacred and powerful.

Well.............
I regret that you've abounded Christ, but believe me, He's still thinking about you for good !
To answer the question, if a Christian Prays for a non - Christian, God hears the Christians Prayer. His Prayers will avail much, but the faith, or lack of faith of the subject of said Prayer still can stand in the way.
Christ be with you !

If I have been with a team of Muslims for dinner i might do my very own prayer silently on an identical time as they did despite they did... comparable element b4 I devour at a restraunt.. As an Athiest and unfastened individual its your decision i think of as long as you do no longer bash human beings while they prepare what they prepare you're being respectful.... one element I unquestionably have found out is that there is a brilliant number of bashing between religions and someway they think of this might convert them... actual in case you want to check i'm going to help placed you down the final direction yet once you do no longer then I shouldn't stress you... Its a decision you may make.... i might wish I had the comparable appreciate from different religions... yet regrettably no longer all human beings is like this... all human beings has freewill and a decision.. its no longer our place to choose Kudos for you for being respectful.

I don't really care if people pray for me or not, but I don't like to be told 'I will pray for you', it seems rude. I would prefer people to just keep it to themselves.
No, I do not believe I benefit because I do not believe in a God and I do not think that prayers can be answered either. However, Christians will probably feel that we are benefited because their God loves everyone and will do everything they can for everyone, regardless of creed.

whether or not a Christian or a non-Christian pray makes no difference. all have their free will to practice as they see fit. any prayer offered by anyone is good and if the prayer doesn't do good for the intended person the one who prays knows that they have tried their best to do what they feel is right.

Isn't It a wonderment how god just loves to get people that promotion,or to get a new house, or even help someone find his car keys. Yet for the only truly innocent people in this world, the children he just sits back and watches. He watched as they were marched into the gas-chambers of the third Rich. He watched as the Japanese tortured and raped and killed millions of children during the second world war.
He sits back today as countless children are raped, tortured and killed, every day in every country. Millions starve to death every day without divine intervention.
Now if, One were to take most western regions seriously, One could argue that god is to busy watching people, to check that they're performing sex acts in the proper manner.
Then the people preaching this garbage have the nerve to ask me if I want to be saved. My answer is that even if I did believe in a god like this, why would I want to spend an eternity with him.
Now that Ive accepted who I am, and others know who I am. And I have the satisfaction of living my life true to my own moral code, I have no fear of dying ,since all it is, is non existence, thus the absence of pain.

yes, if you have a receptive heart, and is willing to do Jehovah's will....no matter what.
Soon the false religions will be destroyed, according to the book of Revelation. And then all the humankind, will be able to do God's will here on earth in perfect conditions in every way....and leaving your beliefs out of your life, doesn't delivers you from the Judgement day, you still are going to be judged and sentenced according to God's commands. Prayer is a form of communication. It exceeds all boundaries. I do not know if one would necessarily benefit, for if the god(s) being prayed to is not in your pantheon, (s)he may do nothing for you. Or, depending on who it is, (s)he may help you after all.

I agree. Anyone wants to pray I say go for it. They wanna make a mockery of me by saying how they need to pray for me and get others to do the same I quote Mathhew 6:6 and tell them to shut up.
