Where did the idea of sin and punishment come from in human psychology and later in religion? why do we think that God would punish us if we have sinned, arent we atributing human psycholgy to God by perceiving him as a parent who would punish the sinful ones ? did the idea of sin originate from the global natural disasters that we cant stop as in the deluge of Noah and later have perceived them as punishments to sins?

This is going to sound like a flame-war question, but I actually want to know something.
If god is considered an actual being, and yet he is infinite as far as time is concerned, how can he exist? This means that there was no beginning to his existence, in which case how did he come to be?
And how, as a being of infinite power, knowledge etc, can he exist. Being infinite implies never ending. If god existed, He couldn't have infinite knowledge because there would always be one more thing he would know. Hence you could not settle on a single entity
I dont know if this even makes sense, late night.
So basically what I am asking is that with the infinite definition of a god, could he exist?

You believe sience already have the answer to evolution. Did you know for a long time sience tought that bigger objects fall faster that smaller ones? We all know it was proven wrong. Evolution is not science, it is a religion. Here is allot of evolutionist here, you cannot prove the big bang theory, you cannot prove evolution, you "believe" in evolution, and if you believe in something, doesnt it make it your religion? My religion says "GOD", your's say "milions of years ago", mine just sounds more to be true, because I give an answer, GOD. Yours say millions of years, or long long ago, there was a dwarth, and bla bla bla bla...... Sounds like a story book to me.

Doesn't it seem peculiar that before christianity, and the new testament, ... that is, in Judaism and the old testament, there is no mention of an eternal hell?

the 2 things in the old testament that are commonly translated as "hell" or equivalents, are "Gahenna" and "Sheol" neither of which are eternal, blatant punishments(none of this pit of fire stuff)
Sheol is literally "the grave" as in, ... the hole in the ground in which your corpse is placed after you are dead.
and Gahenna has a very limited "maximum sentence".

I've heard some christians say that jews rejected their messiah because they expected a physical salvation or whatever. ... well yeah, what else would it be? we already had spiritual/eternal/soul salvation, from god personally!

I am curious how many christians have actually looked into things from a logical, neutral stance, and considered the possibility that the reason the jews didn't accept jesus as the messiah, is because he did not fulfill the role.

I Saw in Quran (Book of Muhamad the Prophet of Islam) , That if a Person Dies as a Sinner , she/he Will goto Hell and If she/he Dies as a Good Person, she/he goes to the Heaven and if that person is a man , he will toch and lives with angels and Hoories (some beautiful Womans in heaven that are ready for good mans !), But i Never Saw that anyone will saw the God or its Lights.
is this means that Muslims in heaven just be with Beautiful angels and not GOD ?
