i know that the scots men wear kilts, but do the english?
oh, and do ladies wear kilts or not?
is it affence to people in scotland if you that technically, a kilt is a man skirt? [in a sarcastic tone]

Kilts were around before society's stigma against men wearing skirt-like garments. It is a Scottish tradition that has been around for centuries. I think it's a fine and honorable tradition, and it's never good to make fun of other's cultures. I'm sure that there are odd traditions in every culture.

first off its offensive not affence and kilts are for Scottish people only a kilt on a woman is not a skirt they are constructed differently

the kilt of today was invented by an englishman in the british army to ressemble a skirt with a belt,as the original kilts were one piece of material and when they fought in the british army it was to cumbersome and very impractical as they also went over the shoulder,

my best friend went to law school at Oxford, he did wear a kilt, don't know about the women, but all that about real men don't wear skirts is a crock, hes 110% man.
