Before the writers of torah (the first 5 books of the bible), there were the writers of the Sumerian and Babylonian religions. Are you all even aware of the common knowledge that religions are built upon others and changed up a bit? Are you aware that before Noah came the Epic of GIlgamesh? How do you explain the similiarities? What about the similiarities of Babylonians "Code of Hammarubi and the OT laws? Wouldn't an all mighty god do better than borrow from the laws of mere men?

Before you write your answers take into consideration that the bible claims that Abraham came from Babylon.

I have two related questions. 1) What does it mean when you see a lot of moths? 2) What does it mean when you see a lot of spiders?
I'm looking for a deeper meaning to this if anyone knows it. Please no comments on exterminators or bug spray or anything like that.
Everywhere I look I see spiders; in my room, outside on the house, and even on or in my car.
Also, there has been a really big moth that has been flying around my side door for the past week at night. I know it's attracted to the light, but It's not there during the day which means it leaves and comes back. Why would it come back to my door, it has the whole world to fly in?
I've been trying to get myself on track in regards to my goals, and am wondering if they are a sign about something.
If anyone knows or thinks they know, please respond.

A few days before my mother passed away, I dreamed that she was laying in the middle of a street and a white sheet covered over her face and I woke up. After she died, I found out that when she was leaving her friend's house, she was walking down the street and she suffered a seizure and knocked on a stranger's door where she got help. About five years ago one early morning when I first moved into my new house, my boyfriend was on his way to work. I helped him get ready to leave. After he left, I made sure the windows and the doors we're locked and went to bed. When I woke up, there was a baby bird flying over my head. No Joke! I can't find NO WAY of how this bird got into my house. I checked every door, every window, I have no cracks or holes in my house anywhere. A week later, my grandmother's sister passed away. I heard about a saying that if a bird flies into your house, that is a sign of death. All I'm asking is Am I getting some type of Psychic connection from beyond the grave ?

I think that ALL Christians must feel sad or condescension for non believers. It is intrinsic in the Religion.

Here is why.

A main tenet of Christianity is to spread the word of Jesus. The ONLY path to heaven is thru Jesus.

Christianity does NOT teach Tolerance of other Religions by that belief alone!

This belief tells them that all others are not saved and need help.

So if you tell a Christian you're an Atheist, they don't look at you as an equal. They HAVE to look at you as someone who is "lost" and needs help. How is that NOT condescending?

This is why I believe Christians get a bad rap. They can't help it. They HAVE to be better than you. They HAVE to try and save you. You are defined as doomed to hell in their RuleBook!

Don't blame the Christian, blame the Religion!

Am I wrong? If so, Just tell me that you believe in Jesus Christ and the bible, and that I can get to heaven WITHOUT believing the EXACT SAME THING as you do!!!!!!

BITTER. I ask questions, and thay cannot answer me. The only thing i get is" you are wrong, you cant spell, who told you, bla bla bla bla, are you people 5 years old, or just plain stupid. I ask questions to get answers, not crap from someone who misses the topic and try to be clever. If you cannot answer the question, I suggest read the other answers and learn. Non bible believers and evolutionists believe that everything originated from an infinitely small spinning mass. Lets say for example that this spinning mass was rotating clockwise. The law of "conservation of angular momentum" states that if part of this mass has to break off that it too should be spinning clockwise.

Please explain to me that why then are there planent and other heavenly bodies which do not all spin clockwise (or anti-clockwise), according to your big-bang theory everything must be spinning the same way around, which is not the case.

Only intelligent awnsers please, and also please note the bible does describe a big-bang, only it is still to come.

Evolution have allot of ussumptions in it. They asume the world is billions of years old, they asume we came, let me refraze, you came from a rock, I was created in the image of God, you were created in the image of an ape, brilliant!!! You still have their brains, when will your brains "evolved" in what I have. Sorry. You asume there is live on other planetts. You asume modern men are more clever that ancient men. ...on here from some muslims (you know who you are), that they think Western women are nothing but a bunch of God-less, easy, sexually charged women who fall into depression if they dont lose their virginity by the time they're16 yrs old. Not all Western women are sluts, just like all Muslims are not terrorists. This upsets me because Muslims sit there and say "we are not those terrorists that you see on tv" (which of course most Muslims are not) but then in the same breath it's turned back around, and they generalize Christian and Western women. Do you really think most Western women are like the kids on "Laguna Beach" or something? I mean, I get the stereotypes are damaging and hurtful, but don't you think that's a two way street? Why can't we just agree to disagree, instead of stereotyping each other and start respecting each other's beliefs and differences? Is that too Barney or something? Sorry, I just had to get that off of my chest. Thanks for letting me vent.
