...on here from some muslims (you know who you are), that they think Western women are nothing but a bunch of God-less, easy, sexually charged women who fall into depression if they dont lose their virginity by the time they're16 yrs old. Not all Western women are sluts, just like all Muslims are not terrorists. This upsets me because Muslims sit there and say "we are not those terrorists that you see on tv" (which of course most Muslims are not) but then in the same breath it's turned back around, and they generalize Christian and Western women. Do you really think most Western women are like the kids on "Laguna Beach" or something? I mean, I get the stereotypes are damaging and hurtful, but don't you think that's a two way street? Why can't we just agree to disagree, instead of stereotyping each other and start respecting each other's beliefs and differences? Is that too Barney or something? Sorry, I just had to get that off of my chest. Thanks for letting me vent.

Muslims not only believe it is a sin for a woman to show any part of her body, it is also a sin on the man for seeing the woman 'exposed', and God will punish men for looking. I think that makes it even more interesting that the Muslim terrorists who hijacked planes on 9/11 spent several thousand dollars on a credit card in a Strip Club buying lap dances and drinks in the few days before it happened. Just something to think about.

That prejudice does exist. Just as there are stereotypes that ALL Muslim women are oppressed, there is a strong stereotype in Asia and Africa that ALL Western women are easy and slutty.
Go to the singles section on Yahoo! Answers and see what the young western girls are asking:
1. I think I'm ready to have sex and I'm 14. will I get pregnant?
2. I feel ashamed that I haven't had sex yet and I'm already 16! should I get laid before on this next date?
3. I've only slept with 4 guys before I met my husband. is it wrong to compare his performance?
4. my husband and I were sexually active before we met each other but he's lost intrest in sex. time for me to have a *ucking buddy?
and a few thousand other similar questions.
I know you all aren't because I know better than to lump people together. but that's how your media and especially Hollywood portray Western women for God knows what reason.
Most Muslims are virgin until marriage because it is a sin in Islam to have sex before marriage and we beleive we must save ourselves for the one we want to share the rest of our lives with. Do you see how from our point of you Western women would be seen in poor light?

Unfortunately, all some countries know about Americans is what they see in American movies and TV shows. It just proliferates the stereotype that women sleep around. If enough people boycott this trash, Hollywood will stop making it.
