Christians believe in Trinity, that the Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit are one. But actually I think this is a concept they themselves don't understand. I think they made this concept because they started to worship Jesus and they were looking for a way to integrate this with the First Commandment from the Bible that there is only one God. In a way they worship Jesus as a manifestation or incarnation of God. However I always think there is a contradiction when they say on the one hand that Jesus is God, then they say he is the son of God, and then they say the father and the son are one, which is quite confusing, because the words father and son imply they are not one.
I notice that the belief in Trinity is the first thing that Christians give up when they start to doubt the dogmas of their religion. So there are many people who still call themselves Christians, but don't believe anymore in Trinity: They believe in one God and that Jesus was a human being and some kind of teacher for the humans. However this is not any "official" Christian teaching of a church, just a private belief of people who can't ignore these contradictions anymore.

Christians believe in one God, because there is only one God. Jesus is the son of God.
The thing about Divine Trinity, God as three persons, doesn't mean that there is 3 Gods. He is God the Father, He is God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This is only meant for us to understand and see how He works, but He is still THE God.

Because God Jesus and the holy spirit are one cause my bible tells me so. Some religion pray to Jesus, then another to the holy spirit and then the other to God but different administration but by the selfsame spirit thus says the Lord. However some pray to angels but are not suppose to. So the answer to your question is saints of all are still believing in one God no matter how another may want to interpret what or how they believe.

Let me think. Ummm, Yes:
John 5:7-8 (Young's Literal Translation)
7because three are who are testifying [in the heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these -- the three -- are one;
8and three are who are testifying in the earth], the Spirit, and the water, and the blood, and the three are into the one.
John 1:1-5 (Young's Literal Translation)
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God;
2this one was in the beginning with God;
3all things through him did happen, and without him happened not even one thing that hath happened.
4In him was life, and the life was the light of men,
5and the light in the darkness did shine, and the darkness did not perceive it.
As stated: God is one being yet made of three different personalities.

I believe there is 3 separate Gods, God the Father,God the Son,and God the Holy Spirit. They all have a purpose. Jesus said after He was resurrected....Not to touch to Him as He had not yet ascended to Heaven To His Father... God the Father...And He also stated that He must go (leave this earth) to heaven so that He could send another The Comforter...God the Holy Spirit... This to me says, They are 3 separate Gods who have their purpose and their own Job to do...Yet work as One....

*** God is not Jesus, and Jesus is not God. Even Jesus himself rejected this. God has said in the Quran:
"Indeed, they have disbelieved who have said, “God is the Messiah (Jesus), son of Mary.” The Messiah said, “Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord. Whoever associates partners in worship with God, then God has forbidden Paradise for him, and his home is the Fire (Hell). For the wrongdoers, there will be no helpers.” (Quran, 5:72)
*** God is not a trinity. God has said in the Quran:
"Indeed, they disbelieve who say, “God is the third of three (in a trinity),” when there is no god but one God. If they desist not from what they say, truly, a painful punishment will befall the disbelievers among them. Would they not rather repent to God and ask His forgiveness? For God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. The Messiah (Jesus), son of Mary, was no more than a messenger... (Quran, 5:73-75)

Do you not realize that an apple has three parts (seeds, flesh, skin)? Do yu not realize that humans have three parts (body, soul, spirit)? Why is it so difficult to realize that God has three parts (Father, Son, Spirit)? That is what our Bible teaches us, clearly and without excuse. If you want to believe in your Allah, go ahead, but let us exercise our freedom to believe the Bible for what it says. I don't think it ought to be that hard for you to accept that there are people out here who believe different than you do. Our God is not the same as your, accept it!
