I know a lot of people will be dressed down, there will be a speaker. I cannot do laundry tonight so all i have to wear currently is a pair of hip hugger capris, baggy pants that look like pajamas, bell bottom gray hip hugger sweats and a dress which i can wear with a pretty shiny shirt or or black blazer. Does that sound too overdressed. What should I wear?

Is that how you tell your children to be good. I mean, if little Mohammed is acting bad, do you say, "Now Mohammed, if you don't behave yourself, you will only get 26 virgins when you go to heaven instead of 72."? Wow, no wonder your children grow up to be terrorists.

the problem is there is this lady that lives in town who is a mormon and i almost keep running into her so i change directions or turn around to avoid her. Today she tried calling my name and i completely ignored her. When do you think they will get the hint. I know they tried calling me and i'm never home. The missionaries stopped coming so they get the drift. But i know there are stubborn members out there where it will take some town before they let up any suggestions, thanks?

A little healthy skepticism is a good thing. But how can people deny their own experiences?
Did you know the word skeptic comes from an ancient town
in Greece called Skepsis?
It was a place where the people knew nothing of what went on
outside of their own little town. The word skeptic was originally
a put down.
So when one prides him or herself on being skeptical, they
pride themselves on the fact they don't know anything!

shes 3, and the word is Hepid. She uses it like a swear word, should I discourage her from using it? I think its hilarious and have even started using it myself. Her dad who does not live with us, thinks she should be punished for using it as a swear word, I think its fine. What is your opinion?

Homosexuals have been around as long as straight people, yet they are still regarded as "strange" and "taboo." As America leans farther right, it seems that gay acceptance is taking a step back instead forward.

Note: I am not gay, but I do believe in equal rights for every law-abiding citizen regardless of race, sex, and sexuality....
