Do you have certain situations when you like to smoke (trying to collect my thoughts when the phone rings etc), under periods of stress, the first pint in a pub.

Or does the craving or habit make you want to light up a lot of the time?

I'm 26, dating someone 15 years older. While the age difference itself doesn't bother me, a few other things about him do:

1) He has 4 children, 2 living with him. I can't help but feel like I will always be second priority at most.
2) Because of his children, we usually can only see each other in the weekends, and even then not every weekend.
3) When we're together, I can really feel that he likes me; however during weekdays he normally doesn't initiate contact. I can understand that he has work, children, and that we've only been seeing each other for 3 weeks, but am I asking for too much too early for him to just say hello? I haven't told him this directly of course as I don't want him to feel like I'm too needy, especially this early.

What do you think of the situation? Am I being paranoid? Rushing? Or are my feelings justified?

For example: A gay couple live in South Carolina and decide to go to California to get married. Under South Carolina law, how would they be classified? Would they still be considered a married couple or is it only valid in California?

My family is spiritual, but doesn't follow any particular dogma. I'm looking for different holidays to celebrate throughout the year. We've already settled on Chinese New Year and New Year's Eve. We plan on celebrating Christmas Day, but not as the materialistic travesty it has become, more of a celebration of our family unit. Thanksgiving day as a celebration of able to have food on the table, and not the usual Pilgrim Story (I'm Native American, and don't believe the story for one minute.) It not only depends on religious beliefs, but also what the holiday stands for. Any suggestions? Serious answers only, please.

the future of the US of A? Pertaining to the Muslims. Do you think there is any chance whatsoever of them taking over this Country? It doesn't seem possible to me. They want all of us to die. Sooner or later someone is going to say "enough is ehough" and take some action against them. I just wish it were our Government. It seems as if they just don't care what happens to us. They keep letting the Muslims in day after day. Do they think the Muslims are joking around or what? Why doesn't our Government start deporting them? They are a national threat. I say bring our troops home where they belong. Then start deporting the Muslims. Jesus Christ Almighty! Why is our Government leading us towards disater? It's like they just don't care and are only out to save their own azzes. It just doesn't make any sense to me at all.

Let's say that God exists. What reason do you have to believe that he is anything like your religion tells you he is? Do you believe your religion tells the truth just because your religion says it tells the truth or do you have another reason to believe that god is like you think he is?

Have you ever thought about it that even if there is a God, there's a good chance he's very different from the way your religion portrays him? Have you ever thought about it that maybe there is a God, but no heaven or hell? Have you ever thought outside the frame of your own religion or does your religion forbid that?

Atheists and theists who have no particular religion need not reply, I know your stance on this.

Is there any truth to the story that during a physical altercation between Tupac and Bigie Smalz, that Bigie "***** Slapped Tupac silly. He continued to ***** Slap Tupak til his voice actually went up a pitch!

It took four Bodyguards to get Bigie off of Tupac
and stop the repeated rapid fire "*****-Slapping" of Tupac
who by that time reportedly wet himself!

Is this true? The cause of all the bad blood?
Any truth in the "*****-Slap" of Tupac incident?

Why did he try so hard to escape that terrible fate?
-He instructed his followers to arm themselves, even
if they had to sell their garments to buy swords! (Luke 22:36)

-He placed 8 desciples on guard at Gethsemane! (Mat. 26:36)

-He took the other 3 further in to form an inner line of defence! (Mat. 26:38)

-He cried: "Father save me from this hour"! (John 12:27) see also (Luke 22:44)

From the "call to arms" in the upper-room, and the deployment of forces at Gethsemane, and the blood-sweating prayer to the God of Mercy for help, it appears that Jesus knew nothing about the contract for his crucifixion. These are not the actions of no willing lamb to the slaughter I ever saw.

Now they are starting to bomb each others mosques. Each group in Islam is sure the other is wrong, and they are willing to murder each other for it, and use a part of the Koran to justify it. The Koran says "don't kill anyone, unless you can justify it". It's too bad Mohammad didn't elaborate on what constitutes justification.

Muslims, what is a good justification for murdering another Muslim (besides converting from Islam to another religion)?
