Most of the catholics worship Mary, the saints, they have a Pope (Christs representitive on earth). They believe that when you take the bread and the wine, the bread becomes the body of Christ and the wine become the blood of Christ.
For most Anglicans they would disagree with most if not all of the above.
They do not agree that you shold worship anybody else other than God. (Mary and the saints are Idol worship this ghoes against the 10 commandments.) If we are Christians then we are all Christ's Representatives, and yet we shouldn't be treated different from anybody.
The Bread and Wine are just bread and wine. They are taken as a reminder what Jesus did on the cross.

These are the fundamental differences. Some Anglican Chruches still hold to the Catholic tradition.

Hope this helps. By the way I'm neither butI work with Anglicans and I used to work in one of the churches.

The head of the Anglican is the queen and the head of the Catholic church is the pope, this isn't a religious difference though. I think it's more to do with Mary? Why don't you go to both churches and ask the Priest and the Vicar.

I believe the Church of England broke off from the Catholic church when a pope pissed off one of the kings.
