Ramadhan is drawing near... what is the significance of fasting and abstinence during the month mean? And after the Ramadhan, comes the Syawal... what does that symbolise? ( I have only a hint of what it is, would like to learn more )

So my mom sent me a letter, and when I got it, the side of the envelope was open, which I noticed after I opened the top of the envelope.

I read my mom's letter and she says she is sending me money. She had told me in the phone she was going to send money so I could send her some pictures.

Is there anything I can do with the post office or whatever, to get the money back, or atleast investigate at which point the letter might have been opened?

I want the costume to be true to history where would I look to get color ideas? My little history memory makes me think that they all had some sort of distinguishing color in their clothing that made them easier to recognize.

Isn't it amazing that this mighty and legendary king left no evidence of his existence? Or, evidence of his mighty empire?

Why do people judge? There are alot of people that don't give others a chance they just see what you look like then make up there mind about you! Me & some of my friends seem to be subject to this alot just because we dress a little bit differently & some of us have a few peircings or tattoos! Why do people have to be so narrow minded were a good bunch of people but sometimes we can get treated like dirt!

When dianosaurs where roaming the earth some millions of years back, in a far far galaxy a alien tribe resembeling humans evolved. with passing of millions of years their science rose to a level they became all mighty and powerful. They could live for ever and do things which are impossible for us to think. Some day on their tour to galaxies they came across earth found creature evolving whic very much resembeled them. I am not a Christian, but I have a few Christian friends. When I asked them if they believe I am doomed to an eternity in hell because I am a Pagan, they say that one's choice of religion doesn't get someone into Heaven. They agree that if you lead a good life and genuinely try to be a good person, then you'll go to Heaven. Does that make sense to you? Do you agree? Why or why not? Please elaborate.

i'm not an anti-religious person, but I am curious about this, do you think Jesus's fate was easier for him to accept because he knew he was the son of God?

BONUS QUESTION:

Is it easier to accept your fate of getting nailed to a cross if you knew it was for something as important as the Salvation of all man?

It seems that for that big a hookup for mankind (and it was a hookup guaranteed by God) most people would submit to the torture. Nobody is that selfish not to.
