Grammar would be good here. But the reason most women like it is because it is easier to deal with. On days we don't have alot of time, it can but easily put up in a twist or in a ponytail. Most men find long hair sexy. Not all but most. With short hair you always have to do work with it.

By the way your question doesn't make much sense! I assume you meant why do you think women like long hair? Instead of what do you think women like long hair? Anyway my point is, double check you question before you submit it. ;-)

It just neat . I have long hair always did. When I was little my hair was very long then I did get it cut but it was pass my shoulders, About a year ago I donated it to a place where they make wigs for little kids that loss their hair dued to cancer, My hair that I donated was 24 inches long I had kept it for 40 years.

If its clean and shiny, cut well and kept nice then it is very beautiful, if its long, lank and greasy hanging in rat tails it is terrible, I think a lot of women just feel very feminine with their hair long and a lot of men do like long hair on women.

I'm guessing you meant 'why do women like long hair?' and I presume you mean their own hair.
As a man I can only speculate that:
1. It is fashionable
2. It allows them to style it and many more ways than when short
3. It appeals to men
4. It is another visually differentiating factor between men and women
