I am married now, but before I was I did wait on God, and I spent my time trying to learn to be happy without anyone else, realizing that I didn't need a mate to make me complete. I spent much time in prayer learning to walk with Jesus daily.

What, are you supposed to sit at home filing your nails or something? He's going to come UPS?
Even if I weren't married, I wouldn't do online dating, but I think you need to actually do something - like leave the house - to find your mate. I've never seen one arrive on a silver platter!
Funny story - I'm pretty sure mine didn't come from god. Because I met him in a strip joint where I was working! lol True story, true story.

I prayed for a long time for God to bring the right person into my life. My prayer was answered when I met the woman who is my wife now. I knew she was the right one because she was open, honest, loyal and spiritual. It's worth the wait to find the right one.

Right as I believed that there was no one for me, that all guys are the same and they're terrible and selfish and nasty and EWW, was when God brought me my mate, my true love, and there will never be another.
