Ok, i know i've got bad habbits that i'm working on. I also know i'm a great person, i have a good personallity and i look good. I get into a realationship and i'm loyal, i like to spoil the people i'm with, and i love to cuddle. So why cant i find a girlfriend that will remain loyal to me, why every time i get into a realationship they cheat on me.

Of course, no such movie has ever been made, nor will ever be made, because Hollywood directors are all cowards and no insurance company would ever insure such a production that, every person knows, would be recieved with massive violence from the religion of peace.

But imagine it for a second...suppose Mel Gibson found out he had cancer...only so long to live...so ge figures 'what the heck, im gonna die anyway, let me make the movie that puts islam under the microscope for the first time'.

Ok...so Mel makes the movie and figures out how to get it distributed....now...for every 100 theaters that show it, how many would Muslims successfully firebomb or blow-up?

You can express this as a percentage if you like.

How many dead?

Offer geo-political ramifications.

Ex: "70% of all theaters showing film would be destroyed by muslims. tens of thosands around the world would surely be murdered by muslims. at least two or three wars would be touched off"

So what if the words he read were not his own? He chose to read them to the world, thereby validating them. So there is no logical importance to the fact that the words he chose to deliver were originally someone else's.

The question is, "Why does the pope want to aggravate Muslims?" Were I Muslim, I would find this statement insulting even were I not an extremist. Shouldn't we be trying to increase dialogues with those of other religions in order to develop understanding, tolerance, and even acceptance as did Pope John Paul II? Can two popes, who are supposedly in tune with "God," contradict each other, or am I missing something here?

Why do some people get so offended and say we HATE other people when we are just standing our moral ground and saying these things are bad.

We used to say that profiling (pc crowd) was wrong until Arab men started blowing us up. Now it is ok to look at them a little closer.

i have scanned the questions regarding this topic here but i don't know if these people have really read or heard the pope's speech.
i am a christian(catholic) and was saddened by the pope's speech, but was also proud when He said sorry

what just concerens me is this, people are also saying, yah right! peaceful christians eh? the crusades and the like..
again, the Pope Paul II already said sorry about those,

now with the killing of the nun and burning of churches,
i haven't heard of a muslim leader saying something about this, or whatsoever...

i do tolerate other religion, but sometimes, it is so easy to belive that majority of the muslims, are not so tolerate when people makes a remark againts them...

just want to air my dismay of what has just recently happend...

here's mine: we all have the right to say what we want but together with it is the responsibility to know the consequence of your statement, cliche goes that if you dont have good things to say might as well keep it to yourself esp. if u think that it will cause alot of tension and this is for you POPE! u might think im a muslim but im not. i was raised catholic and grew up in a place where we look at all the priests as holy, not prejudice and keeper of truth and peace. and obviously i opposed the POPE'S statement whether it is just an expression or the mere fact. sorry to those thats been hurt by this mistake. and please lets not add to the chaos thats already happening. peace out!

I see if it was 1985 cause people did not seem to know how addictive and dangerous it was. But come on! in 2006 there are people picking up a crack pipe for the first time. I work with drug addicts and they all say they started cause of depression, but whats more depressing then being a crack whore? And its not just black people, its young "upper class" white kids picking up the pipe. fing ridiculous!

I know that lernu.net has a decent one online. There also appears to be a good angla->esperanto vortaro by Peter Benson (only in one direction and not the direction I'd prefer, alas). ELNA carries a number of pocket dictionaries/phrasebooks but they all have a limited number of definitions. Are there any better vortaroj out there that I'm missing?
