The bible says we can be forgiven all our sins. We have endless chances for forgiveness.. But when we are dead it is over. No more forgiveness. So we have all our life on earth to repent. So my question is What are you going to tell Our Father in Heaven on the judjement day ? I have been forgiven , my name is in the book of life . Or I just didn't believe or what ?

Jesus Christ shed His own blood for the remission of their sins & rose from the dead? That has been born of God. Now a child of God, inhereting the Kingdom of God?

Realizing that everlasting life is a free gift of God & not by works. One can not earn everlasting life, because even one sin will keep you out of heaven. God is Holy. There has to be an atonement for sin?

Is not burning effigies of the pope way more insulting than anything the pope may have referred to as a quote?
Or for that matter, burning Christian Churches?

Selfishness? That's at the root of almost every bad deed out there.
Or you could go by the biblical Ten Commandments - Lust, Envy, Idolatry...
What are the worst sins we as humans face in today's world?

I recently graduated from college, and I am thinking about working abroad in Canada or London. I'm having a difficult time deciding where to go. I've been in London before, and I know what to expect, especially when comes to using public transportation. I've never been in Toronto or Vancouver so I don't know what to expect at all. I'd like to know what the public transportation system is like there since I don't plan to bring my car with me if I go to Canada.

I just don't get it. What the hell is the point of moving to a country where there's freedom if you're not going to exercise those freedoms?

I have seen people in churches criticise others for not being what they thought these others should be - these people did not have their eyes on Jesus. I have seen others ape pastors and evangelists - who do these people have their eyes on?

If we keep our eyes on Jesus, we will become like Him. Those who look at us will see Jesus in us and we can direct them to look at Him.

Today I saw a guy I hadn't seen all summer at this program I go to. I forgotten what he was like. He was flirting with me and at the end of the day he asked me if I wanted to go out with him . He's 28 and I am 20. I am still kind of questioning my sexuality but I am pretty sure I'd rather be with girls . i have had bad expiriences with guys. When he asked if I wanted to out with him I got nervous and I got a little defensive . He was a little pushy . The only person in the program that knows I am a lesbian is the team leader and I would like it to stay that way. I got to face this thing tommorow and I don't know what to do . Any suggestions? Please be serious when you answer.

Al-Qaida in Iraq warned Pope Benedict XVI on Monday that its war against Christianity and the West will go on until Islam takes over the world

"You infidels and despots, we will continue our jihad (holy war) and never stop until God avails us to chop your necks and raise the fluttering banner of monotheism, when God's rule is established governing all people and nations," said the statement by the Mujahedeen Shura Council, an umbrella organization of Sunni Arab extremist groups in Iraq.

Al-Qaida in Iraq said Muslims would be victorious and addressed the pope as "the worshipper of the cross" saying "you and the West are doomed as you can see from the defeat in Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya and elsewhere. ... We will break up the cross, spill the liquor and impose the 'jizya' tax, then the only thing acceptable is a conversion (to Islam) or (being killed by) the sword."

Do you agree?

Who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?

2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.

3 He was despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

4 Surely he took up our infirmities
and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered him stricken by God,
smitten by him, and afflicted.

5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed.

6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to his own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.

7 He was oppressed and afflicted,
yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before her shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.

8 By oppression [a] and judgment he was taken away.
And who can speak of his descendants?
For he was cut off from the land of the living;
for the transgression of my people he was stricken. [b]

9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence,
nor was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer,
and though the LORD makes [c] his life a guilt offering,
he will see his offspring and prolong his days,
and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand.

11 After the suffering of his soul,
he will see the light of life [d] and be satisfied [e] ;
by his knowledge [f] my righteous servant will justify many,
and he will bear their iniquities.

12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, [g]
and he will divide the spoils with the strong, [h]
because he poured out his life unto death,
and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.
