Do you think Matthew 15: 8-9 applys to the man made traditions of men like the Christmas traditions which stsrted in ancient Babylon or the Easter tradition whch also started in anciect Bablyon ? Even for the trinity who's origin also started with Nimrod who killed his mother to marry his mother? Don't beleive me check your encylopedias!

I sometimes get very intimidated by white men. I know I shouldn't be, but I can't help it. I have some white male friends but it took me longer to get comfortable around them then non-white men. I know that sometimes we all have prejudices, but what can I do to stop mine. Any suggestions??? I'm really serious, I don't like feeling that way.

There are problems that come with this:

A) you ignore those who call you gay, but some people actually physically threaten you the way they would an actual gay person. So you can't ignore them.

B) some girls won't date you because they think your gay through rumors, etc.

C) you don't do anything gay, or even feel you look or at it. You know your 100% straight for a fact, yet people still say your gay and treat you as so.

D) some guys you go to school or work with treat you as less than a man, & don't let you join in on guy conversations on girls etc.

E) gay guys keep hitting on you when you are trying to date females to find the right girl.

F) people say your homophobic when ever you mention you tire of getting hit on by guys when all you want is a nice girl for you.

G) you understand there's nothing wrong with being gay, you almost wish you were because it would be easier since everyone treats as such anyway. But it's irritating when you actually are straight.

I like funky, cool, different names, but nothing to out there...does anyone have any ideas as to some really awesome names? Names for girls or boys, it doesn't really matter.

Also I didn't want to put it under pegnancy and parenting, since I'm not and don't go in that catagory.

It seems like many of us have picked and chosen which sins we've decided are more egregious than others. I see people in this forum condemning homosexuals with various tirades about their particular lifestyles being sinful. Do you think they really didn't already know that? Don't we all continue to fall short? And how is their falling short any worse than our falling short?

When the woman caught in adultery was taken before Jesus did He get in her face and declare how big of a sinner she was? He did not. He saved her from certain death and then told her to sin no more. Do you think He actually believed that she would sin no more? In His own words He said we would continue to fall short even after receiving grace. So why do we meet sinners with such hostility? Do you think He would do the same? He ate and hung out with sinners regularly because He claimed that they were the ones He came for. He treated them with love and saved them with it. We are the students, not the teacher.

I have a roommate. We each have cell phones and there's also a home phone that I alone pay for. Since my roommate has moved in, he's used my home phone for all of his calls that are NOT his personal friends, meaning he's giving my phone number to everyone. This morning some lady for something in regards to insurance premiums called for him, but he was asleep and I took the message. After I hung up, he got mad and said it was an important call and that I should have given him the phone. Now, this is MY phone, *I* pay the bill, and he's sure as hell not paying me to be his personal secretary. Does he have any right to get mad about how I answer my OWN phone and take messages or what message I leave on MY voicemail? How do I tell him if his calls are so important to use his own damn phone? It feels like he's mooching off me so as to not use up his minutes, but like I said, he's not paying the home phone bill.

Jesus forgives us in all things, but can we forgive ourselves? Isn't that what he wants for us? Happiness I believe can only be attained when we can forgive ourselves as well as others. The only reason we cannot forgive others is because we couldn't forgive ourselves if we did the same as them.

That's a little egotistical don't you think.
I mean, I could be the nicest person in the world, give to the poor and love children, yet if I don't believe in him, I'm doomed.
