There is a book called "Logic's Origin of Ethics, Morals, Virtue, and Quality".
Quote: "Of the many reasons why a person might be interested in ethics, morals, virtue, or quality, the book’s angle of view is to the self-chosen preference of intelligent thought.
The aim of intelligent thought is to achieve accuracy in how a person thinks, to willingly self-choose self-improvement, not for the sake of a philosophy, but for the sake of one’s own desire for self-betterment."
Definition of Morals: standards of conduct as right or wrong.
Definition of Ethics: The philosophy or code pertaining to what is ideal in human character and conduct.
Definition of values:value
1. The property or aggregate properties of a thing by which it is rendered useful or desirable, or the degree of such property or sum of properties; worth; excellence; utility; importance.
I sense a theme...do you? They interact with each other by what they are....that is each other. Conduct is the main.

Their really all the same thing. Your value system is how you determine what is good and what is bad. Morals are what is good and what is bad. Ethics is the search for good.
Your values determine the moral system by which you live. Ethics woud be a way to change your moral system. However, the common usage has more to do with appearing to be moral than actually being ethical.
